Lucian Goian
Lucian Goian (born 10 February 1983) is a Romanian professional footballer who last played as a centre back for Indian Super League club Chennaiyin FC. Club career Born in Suceava, Romania, Goian is the younger brother of Dorin Goian who also plays as a defender. He started his career beside his brother, at Foresta Suceava. He followed in his brother's footsteps, joining Ceahlăul Piatra Neamț, but then Dorin arrived in 2005 at Steaua București, and Lucian joined their greatest rivals, Dinamo. He signed for Dinamo, after scoring against Steaua, when he played for Ceahlăul. He played for five seasons with Dinamo, with a break for a year when he returned at Ceahlăul. He also played 6 matches in the UEFA Cup for Dinamo. In 2010, he joined Astra Ploiești, signing a contract for two years. In January 2012, he moved to China, putting pen on paper with Tianjin Teda. Indian Super League
The Indian Super League (ISL) is an Indian professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Indian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Organised by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), and their commercial partners Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), it is officially known as Hero Indian Super League for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp. 2006–07 Liga I
The 2006–07 Liga I was the eighty-ninth season of Liga I, the top-level football league of Romania. Season began on 28 July 2006 and ended on 23 May 2007. Teams Eighteen teams played in the 2006–07 season. Four teams were from Moldova, four clubs from Transylvania, one from Dobruja and nine from Wallachia four of them coming from the country's capital city Bucharest. Pandurii Târgu Jiu had been relegated at the end of the previous season but they re-entered Liga I at the expense of Sportul Studenţesc which has been relegated to Liga II due to financial problems. They relegated together with FC Bacău, who finished 16th last season. The Liga I (; ''First League''), also spelled as Liga 1, is a Romanian professional league for men's association football clubs. Currently sponsored by betting company Superbet, it is officially known as the SuperLiga. It is the country's top football competition, being contested by 16 clubs which take part in a promotion and relegation system with the Liga II. The teams play 30 matches each in the regular season, before entering the championship play-offs or the relegation play-outs according to their position in the regular table. The Liga I was established in 1909 and commenced play for the 1909–10 campaign, being currently on the 29th place in UEFA's league coefficient ranking list. Liviu Goian (born 18 November 1965) is a Romanian former footballer who played as a defender. After ending his playing career, he worked as a sports agent, president at SC Bacău and became a businessman. Liviu's brothers Gigi, Lucian and Dorin were also professional footballers, all of them having played in the Romanian top-division Divizia A. He also has three sisters. A-League Men (known as the Isuzu UTE A-League for sponsorship reasons) is the highest-level professional men's soccer league in Australia and New Zealand. At the top of the Australian league system, it is the country's premier men's competition for the sport. The Chinese Football Association China League (), also known as China League One or Chinese Jia League (中甲联赛), is the second level of professional football in China. Above League One is the Chinese Super League. Prior to the formation of the Chinese Super League, Jia League was known as ''Jia B League''. The then top two levels of Chinese football league were known as ''Jia A League'' and ''Jia B League'' respectively. Guangzhou Football Club, formerly known as Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao Football Club, is a professional Chinese football club that participates in the Chinese Super League under the license of the Chinese Football Association. The team is based in Guangzhou, Guangdong, and their home stadium is the Tianhe Stadium which has a seating capacity of 54,856.
