Lucha Libre Elite, also referred to as simply Elite, is a ''lucha libre'' (Mexican professional wrestling) professional wrestling promotion, promotion based in Mexico City, Mexico. The promotion, founded in 2014 as Asociación de Lucha Libre Élite (All Elite), is owned and managed by Carlo Colín and Ernesto Santillan. The Elite's promoters ran events in past years under the name "Proesa Entertainment". At one point the promotion had a weekly television show on Azteca 7. History As All Elite they ran their first wrestling event on July 19, 2014, in Deportivo Morelos at Mexico City. On October 20, the promotion announced through Twitter a partnership with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). L.A. Park and El Hijo de L.A. All Elite Wrestling
All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Jacksonville, Florida. It is considered the second largest wrestling promotion in the United States behind WWE. AEW is owned by Shahid Khan and his son Tony, who founded the company in 2019; in-ring performers Matt & Nick Jackson and Kenny Omega also serve as company executives. Antonio Peña Promotions, S.A. de C.V. d/b/a Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide is a Mexican Lucha Libre (professional wrestling) promotion based in Mexico City, Mexico. Commonly referred to as simply AAA (pronounced "triple A"; an abbreviation of its original name Asistencia Asesoría y Administración, Spanish for "Assistance, Assessment, and Administration"), the promotion was founded in 1992 when Antonio Peña broke away from Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) to set up a promotion, which allowed him more creative freedom. Aaron Frobel (born December 13, 1986) is a Canadian professional wrestler and promoter, better known by his ring name Michael Elgin. He most recently worked for Pro Wrestling Noah, where he was a one-time GHC Tag Team Champion with Masa Kitamiya. He is best known for his work with New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he is a former NEVER Openweight Champion. Bandido (born April 17, 1995) is a Mexican ''luchador enmascarado'' ( masked professional wrestler) who is primarily known for his work in the promotions Lucha Libre Elite (LLE), The Crash Lucha Libre and Dragon Gate (DG). He is also a former one time ROH World Champion. Bandido is currently signed to AEW. He is a fourth-generation wrestler, a relative of Apóstol Jr., Myzteziz Jr., and cousin of Magia Blanca. Bandido's real name is not publicly known, which is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico.
