Lucas Gottzén
Lucas Martin Gottzén (born 8 November 1977), formerly ''Lucas Forsberg'', is a Swedish social scientist and an expert on men's studies and violence. He is full Professor of Child and Youth Studies at Stockholm University. He was editor-in-chief of the men's studies journal ''Norma (journal), Norma'' from 2014 to 2018; he was also editor of the child and youth studies journal ''Locus'' 2009–2010, and was editor of the ''Routledge International Handbook of Masculinity Studies''. He is particularly noted for his research on the relation between the perception of masculinity and physical and sexual violence, and is a frequent commentator in the media in Scandinavia on men and violence. Men's Studies
Men's studies is an interdisciplinary academic field devoted to topics concerning men, masculinity, gender, culture, politics and sexuality. It academically examines what it means to be a man in contemporary society. Origins Sociologists and psychologists in the Nordic countries such as Norwegians Erik Grønseth and Per Olav Tiller were early pioneers of men's studies as a research field; Grønseth and Tiller's classic study of father absence in sailor families and its impact on children's personality development in the 1950s is often regarded as the starting point of men's studies in the Nordic countries. Floretta Boonzaier
Floretta Avril Boonzaier is a South African psychologist and Professor of Psychology at the University of Cape Town. She is noted for her work in feminist, critical and postcolonial psychologies, subjectivity in relation to race, gender and sexuality, and gender-based violence, and qualitative psychologies, especially narrative, discursive and participatory methods. She heads the Hub for Decolonial Feminist Psychologies in Africa with Shose Kessi. Margunn Bjørnholt (born 9 October 1958 in Bø, Telemark) is a Norwegian sociologist and economist. She is a research professor at the Norwegian Centre for Violence and Traumatic Stress Studies (NKVTS) and a professor of sociology at the University of Bergen.
