Luca De Filippo
Luca De Filippo (3 June 1948 – 27 November 2015) was an Italian actor and director of theatre. De Filippo was born in Rome to Eduardo De Filippo and the singer and actress Thea Prandi. He married Carolina Rosi, the daughter of director Francesco Rosi in 2013. They had many theatrical experiences. De Filippo's career started in 1955, at the age of 7, playing Peppeniello in ''Poverty and Nobility'' by Eduardo Scarpetta, directed by his father. Luca took part, both in theater and in the TV versions, of ''Saturday, Sunday and Monday'' and ''Filumena Marturano''. The last universal common ancestor (LUCA) is the most recent population from which all organisms now living on Earth share common descent—the most recent common ancestor of all current life on Earth. This includes all cellular organisms; the origins of viruses are unclear but they share the same genetic code. LUCA probably harboured a variety of viruses. The LUCA is not the first life on Earth, but rather the latest form ancestral to all existing life. While there is no specific fossil evidence of the LUCA, the detailed biochemical similarity of all current life confirms its existence. Its characteristics can be inferred from shared features of modern genomes. These genes describe a complex life form with many co-adapted features, including transcription and translation mechanisms to convert information from DNA to RNA to proteins. Pasquale Squitieri (27 November 1938 – 18 February 2017) was an Italian film director and screenwriter. Life and career Born in Naples, Squitieri graduated in law, then was briefly involved in stage, as author ("''La battaglia''") and even actor (directed by Francesco Rosi). He made his film debut with ''Io e Dio'', produced by Vittorio De Sica, and, after two Spaghetti Westerns he signed as William Redford, he focused on drama films centered on political and social issues. Massimo Ranieri (born Giovanni Calone on 3 May 1951) is an Italian singer, actor, television presenter and director. Biography Early life Ranieri was born in Naples ( at Santa Lucia), the fifth of eight children in the family.
