''Love In Bombay'' is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film produced and directed by Joy Mukherjee. The film was originally made in 1971 and starred Ashok Kumar, Kishore Kumar, Joy Mukherjee, Waheeda Rehman, Rehman. It is the third film of Mukherjee's ''Love In'' trilogy, includes ''Love In Simla'' and ''Love In Tokyo''. Music director duo Shankar–Jaikishan had composed music for this film which features songs by the legend artists of golden era like Kishore Kumar, Mohammed Rafi and Asha Bhosle. Joy Mukherjee
Joy Mukherjee (24 February 1939 – 9 March 2012) was an Indian actor and director. He was titled as the 'heart throb of the 1960s and 1970s'. Family background Joy Mukherjee was the son of Sashadhar Mukherjee and Sati Devi. His father was a successful producer and a co-founder of Filmalaya Studios. His uncles were director Subodh Mukherjee, Ashok Kumar, Anoop Kumar and Kishore Kumar. Joy Mukherjee was educated in Col. Brown Cambridge School in Dehra Dun and St. Xavier College. ''Love In Tokyo'' is a 1966 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film directed and produced by Pramod Chakravorty. The film was a hit at the box office. Plot A young man Ashok's (Joy Mukherjee) mother makes him go to Tokyo, Japan in search of his deceased elder brother's and his wife (also dead)'s son Ashok's nephew Chikoo. He is unhappy because he is in a loveless relationship with his fiancée Sarita. Chikoo is in an orphanage and taken in by Ashok, his uncle. Ashok tries to convince Chikoo to come back to India with him, but Chikoo refuses and runs away. Asrar ul Hassan Khan (1 October 1919 − 24 May 2000), better known as Majrooh Sultanpuri, was an Indian Urdu poet and lyricist in India's Hindi language film industry. He wrote Hindustani lyrics for numerous Hindi film soundtracks. He was one of the dominating musical forces in Indian cinema in the 1950s and early 1960s, and was an important figure in the Progressive Writers' Movement.
