Gustaf Molander
Gustaf Harald August Molander (18 November 1888 – 19 June 1973) was a Sweden, Swedish actor and film director. His parents were director Harald Molander, Sr. (1858–1900) and singer and actress Lydia Molander, ''née'' Wessler, and his brother was the director Olof Molander (1892–1966). He was the father of director and producer Harald Molander from his first marriage to actress Karin Molander and father to actor Jan Molander from his second marriage to Elsa Fahlberg (1892–1977). Gustaf Molander was born in Helsinki, Helsingfors (now Helsinki) in the Grand Duchy of Finland (in the Russian Empire), where his father was working at the Swedish Theatre. He studied in the school of the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm 1907–1909, acted at the Swedish theatre in Helsingfors 1909–1913, and then at the Royal Dramatic Theatre from 1913 to 1926. Victor Lundberg (September 2, 1923 , Grand Rapids, Michigan – February 14, 1990) was an American radio personality, best known for a spoken-word record called " An Open Letter to My Teenage Son", which became an unlikely Top 10 hit in 1967. "An Open Letter to My Teenage Son" While a newscaster at Grand Rapids radio station WMAX, Lundberg released "An Open Letter" in September 1967. The lyrics, written by Robert R Thompson and produced by Jack Tracy, imagine the narrator talking to his teenage son. (In real life, Lundberg had at least one male teenager in his household at the time.) Lundberg touches on hippies, the Vietnam War, and patriotism. The record, a voice-over, spoken over "Battle Hymn of the Republic", after empathizing, somewhat, with a number of the typical teenage concerns of the day, memorably ends with Lundberg telling his son that if he burns his draft card, then he should "burn isbirth certificate at the same time.
