Love Triangle (game Show)
''Love Triangle'' is an American dating themed game show–talk show crossover broadcast by Game Show Network. Hosted by Wendy Williams, the show premiered on April 11, 2011, and aired its final episode on August 28, 2011. The series focuses on a single dater who is involved in a romantic relationship with two different people. Through a series of personality and lie-detector tests, the dater observes the level of compatibility between himself and each of the suitors before eliminating one of the suitors at the end of the episode. Format ''Love Triangle'' features civilians caught in a real-life "love triangle", featuring a dater and two suitors, with the suitors often having vastly different lifestyles and personalities. The episode begins by discussing secrets of each of the suitors' past. Wendy Williams Hunter ( Wendy Joan Williams; born July 18, 1964) is an American broadcaster and writer. From 2008 to 2021, she hosted the nationally syndicated television talk show ''The Wendy Williams Show.'' Prior to television, Williams was a radio DJ and host and quickly became known in New York as a shock jockette. She gained notoriety for her on-air spats with celebrities and was the subject of the 2006 VH1 reality television series ''The Wendy Williams Experience,'' which broadcast events surrounding her radio show. ''Deal or No Deal'' is the name of several closely related television game shows, the first of which (launching the format) was the Dutch ''Miljoenenjacht'' (''Hunt/Chase for Millions''). The centerpiece of this format is the final round (a.k.a. the "case game" or "main game" ) which is played with up to 26 cases (or, in some versions, boxes), each containing randomly assigned sums of money. After the player for the case game is determined, this contender claims (or is assigned) one case or a box at the start of the game, without its contents being revealed. The contestant then chooses the other cases or boxes, one at a time, to be immediately opened and removed from play.
