Love Is Red
Love is Red was a melodic hardcore band hailing from Nashville, Tennessee. The band formed in 2000 In Florence, Alabama with the original line up of Rob Mcfeters (vocals), Dane Taylor (drums), Adam Riser (guitar), Roger Kilburn (guitar), and Kinsman Mackay (bass). After their first demo, the band released their debut full-length record, ''All Thats Ahead Points to Forever'', on the Kansas City based indie record label Recorse Records. After a few southeastern tours, Rob Mcfeters quit the band. The band recruited Hunter Weeks on vocals. The band then re-recorded some demo tracks and released a split EP on Recorse Records with Nashville Band, Olivers Army in 2002. Trial was an American straight edge hardcore punk band based in Seattle, Washington, active from 1995 until 2000. They reunited for three reunion shows in Seattle, London, and Budapest in the fall of 2005, and were part of the Burning Fight Book Release show in Chicago in May 2009. They headlined a night at Fluff Fest in the Czech Republic on Saturday, July 25, 2009, and then at Antifest in Stockholm Sweden a week later. Shortly afterwards, bassist Brian Redman was killed in a moped accident. Sinking Ships
Sinking Ships was an American hardcore punk band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 2004. In 2005, the band released their debut EP, ''Meridian'', on Run for Cover Records and later re issued on 6131 Records and contributed the track "Turn My Headphones Up" to the ''Generations'' compilation released on Revelation Records. Later that year, Sinking Ships signed to Revelation Records and released their album, ''Disconnecting'', in July 2006. During their existence, Sinking Ships toured with bands such as Comeback Kid, Down To Nothing, Shook Ones, Blacklisted, and Shipwreck. They also released an EP on Revelation entitled ''Ten'', as well as the tour-only single "Safe". Hardcore punk (also known as simply hardcore) is a punk rock music genre and subculture that originated in the late 1970s. Evergreen Terrace is a five-piece American metalcore band from Jacksonville, Florida. Formed in 1999, they are named after the street inhabited by the Simpsons. The band's sixth and latest studio album ''Dead Horses'' was released on December 10, 2013, via Rise Records. Headbangers Ball
''Headbangers Ball'' is a music television program that consisted of heavy metal music videos airing on MTV and its global affiliates. The show began on MTV on April 18, 1987, playing heavy metal music videos from both well-known and more obscure artists. The show offered (and became famous because of) a stark contrast to Top 40 music videos shown during the day. However, with the mainstream rise of alternative rock, grunge, pop punk and rap music in the 1990s, the relevance of ''Headbangers Ball'' came into question, and the show was ultimately canceled in 1995. Over eight years later, as new genres of heavy metal were gaining a commercial foothold and fan interest became unavoidable, the program was reintroduced on MTV2. Embrace Today were an American straight edge metalcore–hardcore punk band from Boston, Massachusetts. They have toured with such bands as Bleeding Through, Champion, Bury Your Dead, Ion Dissonance, Premonitions of War, Since The Flood, and Haste the Day. Based on their 2002 release "FxYxIxE," ExT is perhaps best known for a militant straight edge approach during their live shows and for creating a "Fuck You I'm Edge" mentality within the hardcore scene. Agnostic Front is an American hardcore punk band from New York City. Founded in 1980, the band is considered an important influence on the New York hardcore scene, as well as a pioneer of the crossover thrash genre. History First era (1980–1992) Formed in 1980 with Vincent "Vinnie Stigma" Capuccio (formerly of the Eliminators) on lead guitar, with Diego on bass, Rob Krekus on drums and John Watson on vocals.
