Loukas Giorkas
Loukas Yorkas () born in Aradippou, Cyprus, on 18 October 1986, is a Greek Cypriots, Cypriot singer and the winner of the first season of the Greek version of the television talent series ''The X Factor (Greece), The X Factor''. In September 2009 he released his first EP album, ''Mazi'', which attained gold certification. He studies Biology at the University of Patras. Loukas Yorkas represented Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Germany along with Stereo Mike, with the song "Watch My Dance", placing seventh with 120 points. Aradippou ( el, Αραδίππου []) is a town and municipality in Cyprus, located on the outskirts of the city of Larnaca. It was established in 1986 following a referendum of local residents. The Eurovision Song Contest 2011 was the 56th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Düsseldorf, Germany, following the country's victory at the with the song "Satellite" by Lena. Greece participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012, held in Baku, Azerbaijan. Their selected song "Aphrodisiac" was written by Dimitri Stassos, Mikaela Stenström and Dajana Lööf, and was performed by Eleftheria Eleftheriou, who had previously attempted to represent Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010. The entry was selected through the televised national final ''Ellinikós Telikós'', organised by the country's public broadcasting service Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT) and held on 12 March 2012 at the River West shopping mall in Athens. Eleftheria Eleftheriou ( el, Ελευθερία Ελευθερίου; ; born 12 May 1989) is a Greek-Cypriot singer, musician, and actress. She came to prominence through her participation in the second season of the Greek version of ''The X Factor''. Shortly after her elimination, Sony Music Greece signed her and submitted her as a candidate to represent Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010. She was later disqualified from the national final, following the leak of her song onto the internet by an unknown party.
