Louise Wallace
Louise Annette Wallace (née Hooper, born 21 November 1959) is a New Zealand television presenter, actress, and director. Early life Born Louise Annette Hooper in Auckland on 21 November 1959, Wallace was educated at St Cuthbert's College. She went on to study at Auckland Technical Institute, where she completed a diploma in marketing and advertising; the University of Auckland and the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, gaining a diploma in drama and acting; and the University of Sydney, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1986. Career After living in Australia and contributing to television shows on Network Ten, Nine Network, and ABC Television, Wallace returned to Auckland in 1989 to work as a current affairs reporter and presenter for New Zealand's first private-commercial television channel TV3. Louise Wallace (born 1983) is a New Zealand poet. Background Louise Wallace was born in Gisborne, New Zealand, in 1983. She received a BA from Victoria University of Wellington in 2004 and an MA in creative writing at the International Institute of Modern Letters (Victoria University of Wellington) in 2008. Works Wallace's writing explores family stories and relationships, travel, and music. Her poems have appeared in many literary journals, including ''Akzente'', ''Landfall'', ''Meanjin'', ''Snorkel'', ''Sport'', and ''Turbine''. Her work has also been published in the ''Best New Zealand Poems'' series (2009 and 2011) and ''Essential New Zealand Poems: Facing the Empty Page'' (2014). 20/20 (New Zealand)
20/20 is a New Zealand documentary television programme hosted by Carolyn Robinson, and based on the American Broadcasting Company programme of the same name. Between 1993 and 2014, the show contained a mix of locally produced and American content. The show now presents stories largely produced by its American counterpart, with a local presenter providing context at the beginning. The show uses the same graphics and theme music as the American version. From 1993 until 2003, the show was broadcast on Three, and was hosted by Louise Wallace. The format was then picked up by TVNZ, and was hosted on TVNZ 2 first by Miriama Kamo until 2011, then by Sonya Wilson until 2014. The ''New Zealand Woman's Weekly'' is a weekly New Zealand women's magazine published by Are Media. , it had a circulation of 82,040, third by paid sales after ''TV Guide'' and ''New Zealand Woman's Day''.
