Louise Harrison McCraw
Louise Harrison McCraw (February 1893 – January 25, 1975) was an American writer and philanthropist. She was the founding director of the Braille Circulating Library of Richmond, Virginia. McCraw was a native of Buckingham County, Virginia, the daughter of Emmett and Bettie McCraw. As a child she wanted to be a writer, and by eleven she had begun sending her work to the children's page of the ''Richmond Times-Dispatch The ''Richmond Times-Dispatch'' (''RTD'' or ''TD'' for short) is the primary daily newspaper in Richmond, Virginia, Richmond, the capital of Virginia, and the primary newspaper of record for the state of Virginia.
