Louise Duncan
Louise Margaret Duncan (born February 2000) is a Scottish professional golfer. She won The Women's Amateur Championship in 2021 and finished tied for 10th at the 2021 Women's British Open. Amateur career Duncan started playing golf at 10. She is a product of West Kilbride Golf Club on Scotland's west coast, where she has been coached by club professional Iain Darroch. An R&A Scholar and University of Stirling student, Duncan has benefited from coaching by former European Tour winner Dean Robertson, who also served as her caddie during the 2021 Women's British Open. In 2018, she won the Fairhaven Trophy and was runner-up at the Scottish Girls' Amateur Championship. In 2019, she was 3rd at the Scottish Women's Amateur Championship held at Kilmarnock (Barassie) Golf Club. In 2021, she triumphed at the Womens Amateur Championship, the first Scot to win the Women's Amateur since Alison Rose in 1997. Conwy Golf Club
Conwy Golf Club in Conwy, Wales was officially opened as Caernarfonshire Golf Club in 1890. The links course on the Morfa Conwy peninsula was designed by Jack Morris (nephew of Old Tom Morris). The championship course is long with a par of 72. History In 1869 a nine-hole course was set out by three Scottish gentlemen, which lays its claim to being the first golf course in Wales. A new nine hole course was laid out in 1875, when members of the Royal Liverpool Golf Club commissioned its design by their club professional, Jack Morris. The 2022 European Ladies' Team Championship took place 5–9 July at Conwy Golf Club in Conwy County Borough, Wales, United Kingdom. It was the 39th women's golf amateur European Ladies' Team Championship. Venue Conwy Golf Club was formed in 1890. The 2021 European Ladies' Team Championship took place 6–10 July at Royal County Down Golf Club, in Newcastle, County Down, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom It was the 38th women's golf amateur European Ladies' Team Championship. Venue The hosting course, one of the oldest on the island of Ireland, originally designed by Old Tom Morris and located in naturally links settings in the Murlough Nature Reserve, stretching along the shores of Dundrum Bay, was established in 1889. The World Junior Girls Championship (french: Championnat Mondial Junior Féminin) is an annual world amateur team golf championship for women under 18 organized in Canada. The inaugural event was held in 2014. The Evian Championship, currently known for sponsorship reasons as The Amundi Evian Championship, is a women's professional golf tournament in France, played at the Evian Resort Golf Club in Évian-les-Bains. It was originally held in June, moved to July in 2003, and moved again to September in 2013. It returned to a July date in 2019. Founded in 1994 on the Ladies European Tour (LET) as the Evian Masters, it is one of two major championships on the LET. The Chevron Championship is a professional women's golf tournament. An event on the LPGA Tour, it is one of the tour's five major championships, and has traditionally been the first of the season since its elevation to major status in 1983. The Women's Amateur Championship, previously known as the Ladies' British Open Amateur Championship, was founded in 1893 by the Ladies' Golf Union. It is organised by The R&A, which merged with the Ladies' Golf Union in 2017. Nanna Koerstz Madsen (born 23 October 1994) is a Danish professional golfer who plays on the American LPGA Tour and maintains membership of the Ladies European Tour (LET). She won the 2022 Honda LPGA Thailand and made history becoming the first Dane to win an LPGA Tour event.
