Louis Foster
Louis Foster (born 27 July 2003) is a British racing driver. He currently competes in Indy NXT driving for Andretti Autosport. He is the 2022 Indy Pro 2000 champion. Foster previously competed in the 2021 Euroformula Open Championship with CryptoTower Racing and the 2020 BRDC British Formula 3 Championship with Double R Racing where he finished third. Personal life Louis is the son of former British Touring Car Championship racer Nick Foster. He attended Lord Wandsworth College in Hook, Hampshire. Foster is also a keen hockey and rugby player. Career Ginetta Junior Championship Foster made his car racing debut in the final three meetings of the 2017 Ginetta Junior Championship, driving with Elite Motorsport. Odiham
Odiham () is a large historic village and civil parish in the Hart district of Hampshire, England. It is twinned with Sourdeval in the Manche Department of France. The 2011 population was 4,406. The parish in 1851 had an area of 7,354 acres with 50 acres covered by water. The nearest railway station is at Hook, on the South West main line. The village had its own hundred in the nineteenth century, named The Hundred of Odiham. Nick Foster (racing Driver)
Nick Foster (born 10 October 1965 in Redditch, Worcestershire) is a British auto racing driver and businessman who has driven in the British Touring Car Championship. Racing career After spending the first part of his career in rallying, Foster switched to circuit racing in 2006, competing in the Radical Championship. In 2007 he began two years in the British GT Championship, driving a GT3 class Dodge Viper for Team RPM. Two years in the GT Cup followed. British Touring Car Championship In 2011, Foster stepped up to the British Touring Car Championship, driving for West Surrey Racing in a BMW 320si. Chris Griffis Memorial Test
The Chris Griffis Memorial Test is a two-day test event for Road to Indy racing series. The testing is conducted after the regular season. The test is used by teams to test new drivers as well as for the organization to test new cars for the following season. Chris Griffis Chris Griffis (11 May 196612 September 2011) was a former teammanager for Schmidt Peterson Motorsports. Griffis started his career at Patrick Racing, working with Gordon Johncock, Emerson Fittipaldi among others. In 1990, Griffis joined Chip Ganassi Racing before moving to Bernstein Racing in 1993 and later joining Panther Racing in 2002. At Panther Racing, Griffis was the crew chief of Mark Taylor (driver), Mark Taylor winning the 2003 Infiniti Pro Series season, 2003 Indy Lights title. Jay Howard
Jay Howard (born 16 February 1981) is a British professional race car driver who competes in the IndyCar Series and Indianapolis 500 and resides in Indianapolis, Indiana. Howard was the 2005 US Formula Ford Zetec champion (now known as the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship) and moved up to the Indy Lights series, where he captured two wins on his way to the 2006 championship for Sam Schmidt Motorsports in his rookie season. He qualified for his first Indianapolis 500 in 2011. Career Howard was born in Basildon, England. Autosport BRDC Award
The Aston Martin Autosport BRDC Award is an award set up in 1989 to reward and recognise young racing drivers from the UK. As its names suggest, the award is backed by Aston Martin, motorsport magazine Autosport, and the British Racing Drivers' Club (BRDC). As well as the prestige of winning the award, a test drive in an Aston Martin Formula One car and £100,000 – increased from £50,000 in 2010 – cash prize, the award winner is also presented with the Chris Bristow Trophy. McLaren ended its longstanding partnership with the accolade in January 2019, and Aston Martin replaced them. The 2019 winner received a test in a Red Bull F1 car at Silverstone, as Aston Martin was the team's sponsor. After 2020, the winner ran in an Aston Martin F1 Team car. The Circuit Paul Ricard () is a French motorsport race track built in 1969 at Le Castellet, Var, near Marseille, with finance from pastis magnate Paul Ricard. The Circuito del Jarama (Circuit of Jarama), formerly known as ''Circuito Permanente del Jarama'' (Permanent circuit of Jarama) is a motorsport racetrack located in San Sebastián de los Reyes, 20 miles (32 km) north of Madrid. The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya () is a motorsport race track in Montmeló, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps (), frequently referred to as ''Spa'', is a motor-racing circuit located in Stavelot, Belgium. It is the current venue of the Formula One Belgian Grand Prix, hosting its first Grand Prix in 1925, and has held a Grand Prix every year since 1985 (except 2003 and 2006). Spa also hosts several other international events including the 24 Hours of Spa, the World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.
