The fifth and final season of the American television comedy series '' Louie'' premiered on April 9, 2015, and concluded on May 28, 2015. It consists of eight episodes, each running approximately 23 minutes in length. FX broadcast the fifth season on Thursdays at 10:30 pm in the United States. "Pot Luck" is the first episode of the fifth season of the American comedy-drama television series ''Louie''. It is the 54th overall episode of the series and was written and directed by Louis C.K., who also serves as the lead actor. It was released on FX on April 9, 2015.
