Loudpvck
Loudpvck is an electronic music project consisting of Kenny Beats (born Kenneth Blume III). Originally a duo, the project also included Los Angeles-based DJ Ryan Marks until his departure in November 2017, citing his desire to work on other projects. Loudpvck is best known for collaborating with artists such as NGHTMRE and Zeds Dead, and for remixing songs by artists such as Major Lazer and The Chainsmokers. History Marks and Beats met at the Berklee College of Music in Boston in 2009 before going on to form the duo, Loudpvck, which has released original songs alongside a remix of The Chainsmokers' "Paris" in 2017. On January 13, 2017, Loudpvck released "More Than I Can Take" with Rickyxsan as a single. On February 24, 2017, they collaborated with Botnek to release the song "Traffic". Kenneth Charles Blume III, known professionally as Kenny Beats, is an American record producer, audio engineer, and songwriter. Early life Kenneth Blume III was born and raised in Greenwich, Connecticut. He has been studying music since the age of 9 when he started playing the guitar, playing drums since the age of 11, and producing music since his sophomore year of high school. His first guitar was a Fender Stratocaster and his first amplifier was a Fender Hot-Rod Deluxe. During his junior year at Greenwich High School, he was able to enter a national electronic-music competition hosted by the National Association for Music Education (NAFME) and the National School Boards Association (NSBA). Blume III won second place in the competition, which motivated him to start taking music production seriously. Trap Music (EDM)
EDM trap is a fusion genre of hip hop, rave music and EDM, that originated in the early 2010s on peaking popularity of big room house and trap music genres. It blends elements of trap, which is an offshoot of Southern hip hop, with elements of electronic dance music like build-ups, drops, and breakdowns. A variety of artists spurred trap's move into pop and EDM. WhoSampled is a website and app database of information about sampled music or sample-based music, cover songs and remixes. History Nadav Poraz founded the site in London, England in 2008, as a way to track musical samples and cover songs. Mobile apps were released in 2012 and 2014 for iPhone and Android, respectively. The website's database is user-generated and reviewed by moderators before the content goes live. As of 2022, the site's most sampled track is the Amen break from the Winstons.
