Lou Kusserow
Louis Joseph Kusserow (September 6, 1927 – June 30, 2001) was an American and Canadian football player who played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He won the Grey Cup with them in 1953. Kusserow attended and played football at Columbia University. He was drafted in the 1949 NFL draft by the Detroit Lions in Round 3, #22 overall. In 1949, he played in the All-America Football Conference for the New York Yankees. The following year, he played in the National Football League for the New York Yanks. After his football career, he worked with NBC as an executive. In 1957, he appeared in an episode of ''To Tell the Truth'' as a decoy for baseball player Bobby Brown (third baseman). Braddock, Pennsylvania
Braddock is a borough located in the eastern suburbs of Pittsburgh in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. It is upstream from the mouth of the Monongahela River. The population was 1,721 as of the 2020 census. The borough is represented by the Pennsylvania State Senate's 45th district, the Pennsylvania House of Representatives' 34th district, and in the U.S. House of Representatives. History Braddock is named for General Edward Braddock (1695–1755), commander of American colonial forces at the start of the French and Indian War. The Braddock Expedition to capture Fort Duquesne (modern day Pittsburgh) from the French led to the British general's own fatal wounding and a sound defeat of his troops after crossing the Monongahela River on July 9, 1755. Bobby Brown (third Baseman)
Robert William Brown (October 25, 1924 – March 25, 2021) was an American professional baseball third baseman and executive who was the president of the American League (AL) from 1984 to 1994. He also was a physician who studied for his medical degree during his eight-year playing career with the New York Yankees (1946–1952, 1954), where he was a member of four World Series championship teams. Early life Brown was born in Seattle, Washington, on October 25, 1924. He attended Galileo High School in San Francisco, where he attained straight-As and served as president of the student body. He studied at Stanford University starting in 1942, where he and another student were involved in the rescue of a Coast Guardsman from a plane crash. Prostate cancer is cancer of the prostate. Prostate cancer is the second most common cancerous tumor worldwide and is the fifth leading cause of cancer-related mortality among men. The prostate is a gland in the male reproductive system that surrounds the urethra just below the bladder. It is located in the hypogastric region of the abdomen. The New York Yanks were an American football team that played in the National Football League under that name in the 1950 and 1951 seasons. Season by season overview 1949 The team began in 1944 as the Boston Yanks, owned by Kate Smith's manager, Ted Collins. He wanted a team in New York City, but had to be content with one in Boston after the New York Giants refused to let his new team share the New York area. In 1949, Collins suspected that the All-America Football Conference was on its last legs and got permission to move the Yanks to New York; rather than a formal relocation, however, Collins asked the NFL to fold his Boston franchise and grant him a new one for New York, most likely as a tax write-off.
