Lotte Bundsgaard
Lotte Bundsgaard (born 20 January 1973) is a Danish schoolteacher, journalist and politician. She was born in Nivå to Jørgen Bundsgaard and Hanne Lund Bundsgaard. She married Søren Thorsager in 1999. She was elected member of Folketinget for the Social Democrats from 1998 to 2007. She was Minister for Towns and Homes and Minister for Equal Rights in Poul Nyrup Rasmussen's fourth cabinet from December 2000 to November 2001.. Accessed on 4 July 2019. The Minister for Gender Equality (Danish: ''Ligestillingsministeriet'', literally Ministry for Equality) is a Danish ministry that works on improving equal gender rights across all other ministry areas. The first Minister for Gender Equality was appointed by the Prime Minister on 1 July 1999. Ministers of Equality Every Minister has held this title alongside another title. The Folketing ( da, Folketinget, ; ), also known as the Parliament of Denmark or the Danish Parliament in English, is the unicameral national legislature (parliament) of the Kingdom of Denmark—Denmark proper together with the Faroe Islands and Greenland.
