Lost Village Festival
Lost Village is a surreal festival experience that takes place in a secluded woodland near the village of Norton Disney, Lincolnshire. Festival-goers are invited to explore an abandoned world that encompasses dilapidated buildings, old junkyards, hidden gardens and a disused airbase. The four-day event focuses on forward-thinking music, art, food, immersive theatre, comedy, talks and workshops. Norton Disney
Norton Disney is a small village and civil parish on the western boundary of the North Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 226. It lies midway between Lincoln and Newark, to the south-east of the A46. Norton Disney is the seat of the Disney family, an Anglicised version of the original French surname ''d'Isigny'', of Isigny-sur-Mer, Normandy, from whom film producer Walt Disney's family might be descended. Floating Points
Sam Shepherd, known professionally as Floating Points, is a British electronic music producer, DJ, and musician. He is the founder of Pluto Records, co-founder of Eglo Records and leader of a 16-piece group called Floating Points Ensemble. Biography Raised in Manchester, England, Shepherd studied piano at Chetham's School of Music before receiving a PhD in neuroscience and epigenetics at University College London. He also worked as a DJ at Plastic People, a London club, in the late 2000s. Shepherd's musical influences include Claude Debussy, Olivier Messiaen, and Bill Evans. Bicep are an electronic music production and DJ duo from Belfast, Northern Ireland, consisting of Andrew Ferguson and Matthew McBriar. History Bicep was formed in 2009 as a production and DJing pair in London. The duo, childhood friends, created a blog called "Feel My Bicep", which was used to post lost and forgotten disco, Chicago house, Detroit techno and Italo disco edits. Maribou State
Maribou State are an English electronic music duo consisting of Chris Davids and Liam Ivory. To date, they have released eight EPs and two studio albums, ''Portraits'' (2015) and ''Kingdoms In Colour'' (2018). Besides their own material, the two producers have also done remixes for the likes of Alpines and Lana Del Rey. The duo perform internationally and are signed to Counter Records, an imprint of UK independent label Ninja Tune. He first came to prominence playing unlicensed "warehouse" parties in the early 1980s, and through his involvement with the then-pirate radio station Kiss FM. Greg Wilson (born 1960) is an English DJ and producer associated with both the early 1980s electro scene in Manchester and the current disco/re-edit movement. He is also a writer/commentator on dance music and popular culture. Career 1975–1980 Growing up in New Brighton on Merseyside, Wilson lived above his family's pub during the years 1966–1973. Tom Trago (born 28 January 1983), is a Dutch electronic musician and DJ. Early life Tom Trago was born in Amsterdam on 28 January 1983. He grew up in an artistic household. During his teens, he entertained himself by listening to albums from his parents’ record collection and making his own radio shows. At the age of 15, he decided he would dedicate his life to music.
