Beloved is an American post-hardcore band from Kernersville, North Carolina, United States. History Beloved formed in the fall of 1999. The original members all attended East Forsyth High School in Kernersville, NC from 1996-2000. They played local shows in the surrounding areas of Kernersville where they grew in popularity almost immediately. In 2000, they independently released their first album, ''...And So It Goes''. The band toured the country with bands such as Underoath, Luti-Kriss/ Norma Jean and Cool Hand Luke, including a performance at the Cornerstone Festival. In the spring of 2001, they gained the attention of upstart label Vindicated Records, who released their next release, ''The Running'', later that year. The xx are an English indie rock band from Wandsworth, London, formed in 2005. The band consists of Romy Madley Croft (guitar, vocals), Oliver Sim (bass guitar, vocals), Jamie Smith, also known as Jamie xx (beats, MPC, record production), and formerly Baria Qureshi (keyboard, guitar). They are known for their distinct and minimalist sound that blends indie rock, indie electronic, indie pop, dream pop and electro-rock and the dual vocalist setup of both Croft and Sim. Their music employs soft, echoed guitar, prominent bass, light electronic beats and ambient soundscape backgrounds. Filter is an American rock music, rock band formed in 1993 in Cleveland, Ohio, by singer Richard Patrick and guitarist and programmer Brian Liesegang. The band was formed when Patrick desired to start his own band after leaving Nine Inch Nails as their touring guitarist. Their debut album ''Short Bus (album), Short Bus'' was released in 1995 and ended up going platinum, largely due to the success of the single "Hey Man Nice Shot".
