''Los Vaqueros'' (''English'': The Cowboys) is a collaboration album by Wisin & Yandel featuring the artists from their record label WY Records. It was nominated for a Lo Nuestro Award for Urban Album of the Year. Content It features the following artists: Wisin & Yandel, Gadiel, Franco "El Gorila", Yomille Omar "El Tio", Tony Dize with guest appearances by Don Omar, Gallego and Hector "El Father". This album is the "baby" of Wisin & Yandel's recently emerged WY Records, for being the first production by the record label. Besides participating in the vocals, Herson Cifuentes was as well active in the production and development of ''Los Vaqueros''. ''Los Vaqueros: Wild Wild Mixes'' is a remix album by Wisin & Yandel, accompanied by the WY Records staff, released on July 24, 2007. It is a remix edition of the compilation album Los Vaqueros. Album details The CD and DVD includes 21 songs, and two new versions of "Yo Te Quiero" by Wisin & Yandel, one with Jayko. There are a few special guests on this album like Don Omar, Yomo, Elephant Man, Luis Fonsi, Ken-Y & Hector "El Father". El Tío, who was on the first Los Vaqueros album, does not appear on this one, as he had left WY Records. Llandel Veguilla Malavé (born; January 14, 1977), known professionally as Yandel, is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter and the half member of the reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel. He released his first solo album, ''Quien Contra Mí'', in 2003. His second solo studio album, ''De Líder a Leyenda'', was released in 2013 and was certified Gold (Latin) by the RIAA in 2014. El Tío
El Tío (The Uncle), is believed in Cerro Rico, Potosí, Bolivia to be the "Lord of the Underworld". There are many statues of this devil-like spirit in the mines of Cerro Rico. El Tío is believed to rule over the mines, simultaneously offering protection and destruction. Some figures are in the shape of a goat. Miners bring offerings such as cigarettes, coca leaves, and alcohol for the statues and believe that if El Tío is not fed, he will take matters into his own hands. Villagers of Potosi ritually slaughter a llama and smear its blood on the entrance to the mines. The miners of Cerro Rico are Catholics and they believe in both Christ and El Tío. However, worship of El Tío is condemned strongly by the Catholic Church. Images of El Tío are usually not allowed outside of the mines, as this is seen as the realm of God and El Tío has no place there. Juan Luis Morera Luna (; born December 19, 1978), best known as his stage name Wisin (), is a Puerto Rican reggaeton rapper, singer and record producer, best known as a member of the reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel. Wisin is noted for his unique and aggressive style of rapping. Career Wisin met Yandel in school. They began performing as a duo in the late 1990s and made their album debut in 2000 with ''Los Reyes del Nuevo Milenio''. They later made the jump to a major label in 2003 with '' Mi Vida...
