''Los Gauchos judíos'' (''Jewish gauchos'') is a List of Argentine films of 1975, 1975 Argentina, Argentine film based on the novel ''The Jewish Gauchos (Novel), Los Gauchos Judíos'' (''The Jewish Gauchos of the Pampas'' in its English version) by journalist and writer Alberto Gerchunoff. Juan José Jusid
Juan José Jusid (born September 28, 1941) is an Argentine film director and screenwriter. Career Jusid was born in Buenos Aires. He started his professional career as an actor, puppeteer and stage photographer in the 1960s then switched to film studies at the Association of Short Film Directors. He turned director and screenwriter in 1968 and has directed acclaimed films such as '' Bajo Bandera'' (1997), '' Un Argentino en New York'' (1998) and '' Apasionados'' (2002). His films starring actor Miguel Ángel Solá have won a number of Silver Condor awards such as ''Asesinato en el senado de la nación'' (1984) and '' Bajo Bandera'' (1997). Raúl Lavié (born August 22, 1937) nickname ''El Negro'', is an Argentine entertainer prominent in the Tango genre. Life and work Raúl Alberto Peralta was born in Álvarez, located in the Rosario Department of the Santa Fe Province, Argentina in 1937. He first sang on a local radio station in 1955 and was subsequently invited to perform on ''Radio Belgrano'' and ''Radio El Mundo'' in Buenos Aires. Enjoying early popular acclaim, he gained his first professional contract with Columbia Records in July 1957, by which he recorded with Tango orchestra leader Héctor Varela. The Gaucho culture, or Gaúcho culture, is the set of knowledge, arts, tools, food, traditions and customs that have served as a reference to the gaucho. The association was established by Baron Maurice de Hirsch, a Jewish-French industrialist who amassed a fortune building railroads in Russian Empire, Russia.
