Los Favoritos
Los Favoritos is a Puerto Rican pop group that formed in 2008, which consisted of eight former participants from '' Objetivo Fama''—Arquímides, Blanca Rosa, Ediberto, Javier Baerga Schroeder, Jometh, Jonathan, Luz Maria, and Mary Ann Acevedo—and Francisco Zamora. Baerga and Luz Maria would later leave the group to record their solo albums. Los Favoritos: The Show "Los Favoritos: The Show" was produced by Francisco Zamora, Karlo Cabrera, and Guillermo Torres. Danny Lugo was the choreographer. The program's target audience was the general public and families. On January 25, 2009, "Los Favoritos" presented a concert in the Coliseo Ruben Rodriguez at Bayamon, Puerto Rico, in the continuation of the concert tour in 2008–2009. Tour Special Presentations On October 30, 2008, parts of "Los Favoritos" were presented in the " Pabellón de la Paz" in San Juan. Luis Muñoz Rivera Park
The Luis Muñoz Rivera Park (or Parque Luis Muñoz Rivera in Spanish) is a 27.2 acre (110,000 m2) recreational public space located in Puerta de Tierra in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The park was named in honor of Puerto Rican statesman Luis Muñoz Rivera. It is the largest public square in the San Juan metropolitan area. History In 1917 Law 43 was passed stating a park named Muñoz Rivera Park should be built in San Juan and land was set aside for its creation. The land once formed part of the city's " Third line of defense" built in the 18th century. The powder magazine built in 1769, “ El Polvorín de San Gerónimo”, designed by military engineer Thomas O'Daly, is still located on the grounds of the park. The east side of the park is bordered by the Puerto Rican Supreme Court building designed in 1952-56 by architects Toro Ferrer. Plaza Las Américas is a shopping mall in Hato Rey, San Juan, Puerto Rico, located at the intersection of Routes PR-18, 18 and PR-22, 22. "''Plaza''", as it is known to many Puerto Rico, Puerto Ricans, was the first indoor shopping mall built in Puerto Rico. It is the largest shopping mall in the Caribbean and the second largest in Latin America. Anchor stores are JCPenney, Macy's, Sears, Sears Brand Central, Forever 21, Old Navy, Caribbean Cinemas and Marshalls. Previously, there was a Kmart store near the mall. History Origins In 1918, siblings Jerónimo, Rosa, Gerardo, and Jaime Fonalledas acquired of land previously known as "Las Monjas". This land was property of Don Pablo Ubarri Capetillo, the Count of Santurce.
