Loris Vergier
Loris Vergier (born 7 May 1996) is a French downhill mountain bike rider. As a Junior, he won first place at the 2014 UCI Downhill Mountain World Championships. Career Vergier began racing for Lapierre Bikes as a junior in 2013. The following year he won both the Junior world cup overall as well as the Junior World Championships in Hafjell, Norway. In 2015, he moved up to the elite category and took third place at the UCI world cup round in Windham, U.S. In 2016 the Lapierre team switched to specialized bikes. Vergier finished the UCI World Cup season in seventh place. His best result of the 2016 season was a second place in Leogang, Switzerland. Cagnes-sur-Mer (, literally ''Cagnes on Sea''; oc, Canha de Mar) is a French Riviera town in the Alpes-Maritimes department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. Luca Shaw is a professional downhill Mountainbike racer. He races UCI world cups for the Canyon Collective Factory Team and the UCI World Championships for Team USA Cycling. Personal life Shaw was born in San Francisco, California but has been living in Hendersonville, North Carolina since he was 8. His older brother Walker is also a mountain bike racer. Josh Bryceland
Joshua Antonio Torres Bryceland, known as Josh Bryceland, and commonly referred to by his nickname, Ratboy, born 23 March 1990, in Manchester is a professional downhill mountain biker, who lives in Higher Poynton, Cheshire, England. He entered his first race at 10 . Andy Kyffin signed him to his Northwest Mountain Bike Centre team. He won regional and national junior titles. One of his father's friends, Steve Peat signed him to his Royal Racing team. Bryceland was Junior World Cup Series Champion in 2007 and finished 9th in the Elite Men's race of the Maribor World Cup round. After 2016 he left the Santa Cruz Syndicate team to pursue Enduro racing. Josh has since left the team and is now riding as a Freerider and brand ambassador for Cannondale Cycles. Steve Peat
Steve Peat (born 17 June 1974 in Chapeltown, South Yorkshire), nicknamed "Sheffield Steel" or more commonly just "Peaty", is a professional downhill mountain biker who was born and lives in Chapeltown, Sheffield, England. Prior to his career as a professional mountain biker Peat was employed as a plumber by James Lamb. He is married to Adele Croxon and has two sons, Jake and George Peat. Peat began his career with little success riding for the Saracen team alongside Rob Warner, before moving in the mid 1990s to Team MBUK. He rode for GT Bicycles in the late 1990s and for the Orange team between 2002 and 2005, winning the Fort William downhill world cup round in 2005. He then joined the Santa Cruz Syndicate team for the 2006 season, which saw him finish 1st overall. He continues to race for Santa Cruz Syndicate. Greg Minnaar (born 13 November 1981) is a South African World Champion mountain bike racer competing in downhill cycling. He has won 4 World Championships, 3 World Cup Overall’s and has the most world cup wins ever, with 23 career victories. Know as the GOAT, Greg currently competes in the UCI Downhill MTB World Cup.
