Lori Wilson (California Politician)
Lori Denise Wilson (born July 17, 1976) is an American politician elected to the California State Assembly. She is a California Democratic Party, Democrat elected to represent the California's 11th State Assembly district, 11th district, encompassing Solano County, California, Solano County and parts of Contra Costa County, California, Contra Costa County, including the cities of Antioch, California, Antioch and Oakley, California, Oakley. Prior to being elected to the state assembly, she was mayor of Suisun City, California, Suisun City. The last time a Solano resident represented the area was by Tom Hannigan. He represented this area in the Assembly from 1978 to 1998. His daughter, Erin Hannigan Andrews, serves on the Solano County Board of Supervisors. California's 11th State Assembly district is one of 80 California State Assembly districts. It is currently represented by Democrat Lori Wilson of Suisun City. Suisun City, California
Suisun City ( ; Wintun for "where the west wind blows") is a city in Solano County, California, United States. The population was 29,518 at the 2020 census. The city takes its name from the adjacent Suisun Bay, which in turn is named for the Suisun people, an indigenous Native American tribe of the area. Etymology Suisun City is named for the Suisun people, which is a Native-American tribe living in the area. Geography Suisun City is located at (38.244863, -122.017048). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of , of which is land and (1.39%) is water. The city is adjacent to Suisun Marsh, at the largest contiguous estuarine marsh remaining on the west coast of North America. A board of supervisors is a governmental body that oversees the operation of county government in the U.S. states of Arizona, California, Iowa, Mississippi, Virginia, and Wisconsin, as well as 16 counties in New York. Solano County () is a county located in the U.S. state of California. As of the 2020 census, the population was 453,491. The county seat is Fairfield. Solano County comprises the Vallejo–Fairfield, CA Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is also included in the San Jose–San Francisco–Oakland, CA Combined Statistical Area. Tom Hannigan
Thomas M. Hannigan (May 30, 1940 – October 9, 2018) was an American businessman and politician. Biography Hannigan was born in Vallejo, California. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1963 to 1966 and was commissioned a captain. In 1962, he graduated from Santa Clara University. He moved to Fairfield, California and was in the real estate business. He served on the Fairfield City Council rom 1970 to 1974 and as mayor of Fairfield from 1972 to 1974. Hannigan also served on the Solano County Board of Supervisors from 1974 to 1978 and served as chair of the board of supervisors. Hannigan served in the California State Assembly from December 4, 1978 - November 30, 1996 and was a Democrat. From 1999 to 2003, Hannigan served as the director of the California Department of Water Resources. The Fairfield–Vacaville station is named in his honor.
