Lorenzo Fortunato
Lorenzo Fortunato (born 9 May 1996) is an Italian cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Fortunato had his first professional win at the 2021 Giro d'Italia, which was also his first Grand Tour, when he soloed to win stage 14 atop the Monte Zoncolan after dropping Jan Tratnik 2.3 kilometers from the finish. He ended up finishing 26 seconds ahead of Tratnik, and 59 seconds ahead of third place Alessandro Covi. 2021 Giro D'Italia
The 2021 Giro d'Italia was the 104th edition of the Giro, a three-week Grand Tour cycling stage race. It started on 8 May and finished on 30 May. On 26 May 2019, the race organisers RCS Sport originally announced that the start of the 2021 Giro (known as the ''Grande Partenza'') would be in Sicily, Italy. However, on 4 February 2021, RCS Sport announced that the race would instead start in Turin, with the rest of the race route being announced on 24 February 2021. The race was won by Egan Bernal of , winning his first Giro title and his second Grand Tour victory overall. He became the second Colombian to win the Giro after Nairo Quintana did so in 2014. 2014 UCI Road World Championships
The 2014 UCI Road World Championships took place in Ponferrada, Spain, from 21 to 28 September 2014. The cycling championships consisted of 12 events for elite, under-23 and junior cyclists. It was the 81st UCI Road World Championships and the seventh time that Spain had hosted the championships; they were previously held in Lasarte in 1965, Montjuïc in 1973, Barcelona in 1984, Benidorm in 1992, San Sebastián in 1997 and Madrid in 2005. The 2021 Adriatica Ionica Race/Sulle Rotte della Serenissima was a road cycling stage race that took place between 15 and 17 June 2021 in the northeastern Italy. It was the third edition of the Adriatica Ionica Race and a category 2.1 event on the 2021 UCI Europe Tour. After the 2020 edition was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the race made its return in 2021, though it was forced to downscale to three stages from the usual five.
