Lorena Arias
Lorena Ivette Arias Rodríguez (born 25 January 1983), known as Lorena Arias, is a Mexican former professional tennis player. Biography Arias was born into a Mexico City family with a history in the sport of volleyball. Her father coached volleyball and her mother, María del Carmen, represented Mexico at the 1968 Summer Olympics. Before joining the professional tour, Arias played four seasons of college tennis at Washington State. She is a three-time medalist for Mexico in the Summer Universiade, including the country's first ever tennis medal in 2003, partnering Erika Valdés in the women's doubles. From 2004 to 2008, Arias competed on the professional tour, primarily on the ITF circuit. In 2005 she featured in the qualifying draws of WTA Tour tournaments in Acapulco and Bogota. ITF Women's Circuit
The ITF Women's World Tennis Tour, previously known as the ITF Women's Circuit, is a series of professional tennis tournaments run by the International Tennis Federation for female professional tennis players. History It serves as a developmental circuit for the WTA Tour, which is run by the independent Women's Tennis Association (WTA). There are several hundred ITF Women's Circuit tournaments each year, spread across all six inhabited continents, with prize money ranging from US$15,000 to US$100,000. Los Mochis
Los Mochis () is a coastal city in northern Sinaloa, Mexico. It serves as the municipal seat of the municipality of Ahome. Irapuato is a Mexican city (and municipality) located at the foot of the Arandas Hill (in Spanish: ''Cerro de Arandas''), in the central region of the state of Guanajuato. Valeria Pulido Velasco (born 1 January 1990) is a former professional tennis player from Mexico. Biography Pulido, who comes from the Mexican state of Morelos, won two singles titles and five doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. She received a wildcard into the doubles event at the 2008 Mexican Open, partnering Melissa Torres Sandoval in her only WTA Tour main-draw appearance. A right-handed player, Pulido left the tour after the 2008 season to play college tennis in the United States for the USC Trojans.
