Lore Hoffmann
Lore Hoffmann (born 25 July 1996) is a Switzerland, Swiss Middle-distance running, middle-distance runner who specialises in the 800 metres. She finished fourth at the 2022 European Athletics Championships, 2022 European Championships and fifth at the 2021 European Athletics Indoor Championships, 2021 European Indoor Championships. She reached the semi-finals of the 2020 Summer Olympics, 2020 Olympics. Early life and background Lore Hoffmann was born on 25 July 1996 in Strasbourg, France. Her family originates from Metz, France. Growing up, she and her family moved around a lot due to her father's profession. She lived in the United States as well as Chambéry, France for four years. 2017 European Athletics U23 Championships
The 2017 European Athletics U23 Championships were the 11th edition of the biennial athletics competition between European athletes under the age of twenty-three. 2019 World Athletics Championships
The 2019 IAAF World Athletics Championships () was the seventeenth edition of the biennial, global athletics competition organised by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), since renamed World Athletics. It was held between 27 September and 6 October 2019 in Doha, Qatar, at the renovated multi-purpose Khalifa International Stadium, but reduced to 21,000 available seats. 1,772 athletes from 206 teams competed in 49 athletics events over the ten-day competition, comprising 24 events each for men and women, plus a mixed relay. 2018 European Athletics Championships
The 2018 European Athletics Championships were held in Berlin, Germany, from 6 to 12 August 2018. The championships were part of the first European Championships with other events happening in the United Kingdom. For the second Championships in a row the Russian team did not participate; this was due to the suspension of the All-Russia Athletic Federation by the International Association of Athletics Federations. However, several athletes were cleared by the IAAF to compete as Authorised Neutral Athletes under the flag of the European Athletic Association. The 1500 metres or 1,500-metre run (typically pronounced 'fifteen-hundred metres') is the foremost middle distance track event in athletics. The distance has been contested at the Summer Olympics since 1896 and the World Championships in Athletics since 1983. It is equivalent to 1.5 kilometers or approximately miles. The event is closely associated with its slightly longer cousin, the mile race, from which it derives its nickname "the metric mile". The demands of the race are similar to that of the 800 metres, but with a slightly higher emphasis on aerobic endurance and a slightly lower sprint speed requirement. Evilard/Leubringen is a bilingual municipalities of Switzerland, municipality in the Biel/Bienne (administrative district), Biel/Bienne administrative district of the Cantons of Switzerland, canton of Bern, Switzerland. 400 Metres
The 400 metres, or 400-meter dash, is a sprint event in track and field competitions. It has been featured in the athletics (sport), athletics programme at the Summer Olympics since 1896 for men and since 1964 for women. On a standard outdoor running track, it is one lap around the track. Runners start in staggered positions and race in separate lanes for the entire course.
