Bernard Loomer
Bernard MacDougall Loomer (March 5, 1912 – August 15, 1985) was an American professor and theologian. Loomer was longtime Dean of the University of Chicago Divinity School and a leading proponent of Process Theology. Biography Loomer is principally known as contributor to the study of process theology. Lisa Loomer (born 1950) is an American playwright and screenwriter who has also worked as an actress and stand-up comic. She is best known for her play ''The Waiting Room'' (1994), in which three women from different time periods meet in a modern doctor's waiting room, each suffering from the effects of their various societies' cosmetic body modification practices (foot binding, corsetry, and breast implantation). She also co-wrote the screenplay for the film '' Girl Interrupted''. Many of her plays deal with the experiences of Latinas and immigrant characters. Lorne Loomer
Lorne Kenneth Loomer (March 11, 1937January 1, 2017) was a Canadian competition rower and Olympic champion. He received a gold medal in ''coxless fours'' at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, together with Archibald MacKinnon, Walter D'Hondt and Donald Arnold. At the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games, Loomer received a gold medal in ''eights''. Awards Loomer was inducted into the Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame in 1958. He was inducted into ''British Columbia Sports Hall of Fame'' in 1966, and into ''University of British Columbia Sports Hall of Fame'' in 1993, together with the other members of the Olympic gold team. ''Loveless'' (stylized as loveless) is the second studio album by the Anglo-Irish rock band My Bloody Valentine. It was released on 4 November 1991 in the United Kingdom by Creation Records and in the United States by Sire Records. Loomer (band)
The Saddletramps were an alternative country band from Toronto, Ontario in the 1980s and 1990s. Core members of the band included Ken Horne, Andrew Lindsay, John DeHaas and Brian Duguay. History In the early 1980s several Fanshawe College students from the Greater Toronto Area who shared a rented house in London, Ontario got together to form the band Tin Mitten. Their first gig was opening for another established local band, The Waiting. Friends of the band members chanted "No Waiting, Mitten Now" and pelted the band with mittens. The band was soon renamed The Saddletramps, and performed in various Toronto venues. Lindsay met seventeen-year-old Sarah Harmer while working at Sunrise Records in Burlington, and she joined the band, later commuting to Toronto to perform on weekends while attending Queen's University.
