''Lookin' Back at Myself'' is the fourth studio album from American country music artist Aaron Tippin. It was released in 1994 via RCA Records Nashville. The album includes the singles "I Got It Honest" and "She Feels Like a Brand New Man Tonight," both of which entered the country music charts; respectively, they peaked at #15 and #39. It became his first album to not feature a Top 10 Hit. "Country Boy's Tool Box" later appeared on Tippin's next album, ''Tool Box''. Aaron Tippin
Aaron Dupree Tippin (born July 3, 1958) is an American country music singer, songwriter and record producer. Initially a songwriter for Acuff-Rose Music, he gained a recording contract with RCA Nashville in 1990. His debut single, "You've Got to Stand for Something" became a popular anthem for American soldiers fighting in the Gulf War and helped to establish him as a neotraditionalist country act with songs that catered primarily to the American working class. Under RCA's tenure, he recorded five studio albums and a Greatest Hits package. Tippin switched to Lyric Street Records in 1998, where he recorded four more studio albums, counting a compilation of Christmas music. After leaving Lyric Street in 2006, he founded a personal label known as Nippit Records, on which he issued the compilation album ''Now & Then''. Pedal Steel Guitar
The pedal steel guitar is a Console steel guitar, console-type of steel guitar with pedals and knee levers that change the pitch of certain strings to enable playing more varied and complex music than any previous steel guitar design. Like all steel guitars, it can play unlimited glissando, glissandi (sliding notes) and deep vibrato, vibrati—characteristics it shares with the human voice. Pedal steel is most commonly associated with American country music and Music of Hawaii, Hawaiian music. Pedals were added to a lap steel guitar in 1940, allowing the performer to play a major scale without moving the Steel bar, bar and also to push the pedals while striking a chord, making passing notes slur or bend up into harmony with existing notes. The Jordanaires
The Jordanaires were an American vocal quartet that formed as a gospel group in 1948. Over the years, they recorded both sacred and secular music for recording companies such as Capitol Records, RCA Victor, Columbia Records, Decca Records, Vocalion Records, Stop Records, and many other smaller independent labels. Lonnie Wilson
Lonnie Wilson is an American drummer, songwriter, and record producer, known primarily for his work in country music. Born in Monroe, Louisiana, Wilson was originally the lead singer of the band Bandana, which charted ten singles on the Hot Country Songs charts between 1982 and 1986. Wilson quit the band in 1986 to spend time with his family and wife, Donna. Wilson began playing as a session drummer in the early 1990s. One of the first albums to feature his drumming was Brooks & Dunn's debut ''Brand New Man''. Harry Stinson (musician)
Harry Stinson is an American multi-instrumentalist, noted as a session drummer and vocalist in the Nashville music community. He is also a songwriter and producer. Biography Stinson grew up in Nashville, where he grew to love country music. He was in a high school band with Morris West, son of country star Dottie West. In 1970, Stinson first worked professionally in Dottie West's band the Heartaches, touring with Red Sovine and Don Gibson, and appearing on the Grand Ole Opry. In 1974, Stinson substituted for Willie Leacox for the band America's tour. Silver Then Stinson moved to California, where he joined the band Silver with John Batdorf, Tom Leadon, Brent Mydland, and Greg Collier. Silver had one top 20 hit in 1976 with "Wham Bam." John Wesley Ryles (born December 2, 1950) is an American country music artist. Ryles recorded a string of hit country songs, beginning in 1968 when he was still a teenager, and continuing through the 1980s. He no longer records as a headline artist but remains active in the music industry as a session musician. Tom Robb (July 12, 1948 – March 6, 2006) was an American session bassist who is best known for his work with acts like Dionne Warwick, Little Richard, Dolly Parton, The Marshall Tucker Band, and many others. He was also the featured bassist on Alicia Bridges' 1978 song, "I Love the Nightlife." Over the course of his career, he played bass on hundreds of records for a wide range of artists in Atlanta, Georgia and Nashville, Tennessee. Bobby Ogdin
Robert Ford Ogdin (born September, 1945) is a Nashville-based recording session pianist. He is best known as a member of Elvis Presley's TCB band. He performed on 20 of Presley's recordings and accompanied him on 45 live shows until Presleys' death in 1977. Ogdin's piano playing was synchronized with archival footage of Presley's vocal performance on "Unchained Melody" in the 2022 motion picture, '' Elvis'' directed by Baz Luhrman. Ogdin's experiences during the Presley tours have been chronicled in a four-part series of video interviews by Billy Stallings.
