Loner (Alison Wonderland Album)
''Loner'' is the third studio album by Australian DJ and producer Alison Wonderland, released on 6 May 2022 through EMI Music Australia. It follows four years after her previous album '' Awake'', and was preceded by the singles "Bad Things", "Fuck U Love U", "Fear of Dying", "New Day" and "Forever". She will tour North America in support of the record. Background After years of touring, Wonderland said that the COVID-19 pandemic halting events around the world in 2020 left her feeling "entirely alone" and as if she "had hit errock bottom". She eventually returned to recording music as a "way to move forward", taking inspiration from her previous albums to "work out where she's going" and to no longer "be the victim" in the stories she tells. Wonderland called ''Loner'' a "rebirth" as well as her "most positive album" and hoped that the album would "empower" listeners to "feel less alone". Alexandra Margo Sholler (born 27 September 1986), known professionally as Alison Wonderland, is an Australian electronic dance music producer, DJ, and singer. Her debut album, ''Run'', was released on 20 March 2015, which peaked at No. 6 on the ARIA Albums Chart and was certified gold by ARIA. Trevor Christensen (born 12 May 1993), known professionally as Said the Sky, is an American electronic dance music producer, DJ and musician. Early life At the age of 8, Christensen went for piano lessons which he had disliked. He quit the lessons after several years but later rejoined it while he was in middle school, along picking up other instruments to learn. He first got into electronic dance music by learning about the production at a Digital Audio Production class in high school. Christensen uses Ableton Live to produce music. ''Awake'' is the second studio album from Australian electronic DJ and Producer Alison Wonderland. It was released on 6 April 2018 via EMI Music Australia. The album features four singles: "Happy Place", "Church", "No" and "High". In August 2018, Wonderland announced a 4-date national tour commencing in Brisbane in November 2018.
