A lollipop is a type of sugar candy usually consisting of hard candy mounted on a stick and intended for sucking or licking. Different informal terms are used in different places, including lolly, sucker, sticky-pop, etc. Lollipops are available in many flavors and shapes. Shannon Louise "Lolly" Allen (also Carpenter) is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours''. She made her first screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 25 July 1994. Louise was played by Tessa Taylor from her birth, with Jiordan Tolli taking over the role a few months later. The character was written out in 2001 when Tolli's parents and the producers felt it was the right time for her to leave. In 2006, it was announced that Louise would be returning to ''Neighbours'' and Adelaide Kane was cast in the role, after winning the ''Dolly (magazine), Dolly'' "''Neighbours'' Next Big Stars" competition. Lolly (born Anna Shantha Kumble (pronounced ''KUUM-blay, Kŭmblā''); 27 June 1977, Sutton Coldfield) is an English singer, dancer and TV presenter. Career Anna Kumble worked as a model before going into a pop career. Lolly arrived on the British pop music scene in 1999 with the release of her first single, "Viva La Radio". Emmanuel Debattista (21 December 1929 – 2 May 2021), better known as Lolly Debattista, was a Maltese footballer player and manager. A one-club man, he spent his whole career playing as a defender for Floriana. Redbone is an American rock music, rock band founded in 1969 by brothers Pat Vegas, Pat and Lolly Vegas. She worked as an art teacher and published several books on art, and was a founder of Dun Emer Press which published several works by her brother W. B. Yeats.
