Lollipop (Candyman)
"Lollipop (Candyman)" is a song by Danish-Norwegian dance-pop group Aqua. It was released as the fifth overall single from their debut album, '' Aquarium'', in Australasia, North America, and mainland Europe—it was not released in the United Kingdom. "Lollipop" features a prominent role for René Dif, with vocals also from main vocalist Lene. The US CD and cassette single include "Good Morning Sunshine" as the B-side. Although it said to be one of the group's favorite songs, "Lollipop (Candyman)" failed to replicate the success of "Barbie Girl", "Doctor Jones", and " My Oh My" where it was released. In the United States, it became their second top-40 hit and last song to chart there, peaking at 23. The single reached the top 10 in Sweden and Australia, staying at number three for five consecutive weeks in the latter country. Aqua is a Danish-Norwegian Europop and Dance-pop band, best known for their 1997 multi-platinum crossover and novelty single "Barbie Girl". The group formed in 1989 as Joyspeed, and achieved international success around the globe in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The band released three albums: '' Aquarium'' in 1997, ''Aquarius'' in 2000 and '' Megalomania'' in 2011. The group sold an estimated 33 million albums and singles, making them the most profitable Danish band ever. The group managed to top the UK Singles Chart with three of their singles. Melodic Death Metal
Melodic death metal (also referred to as melodeath) is a subgenre of death metal that employs highly melodic guitar riffs, often borrowing from traditional heavy metal (including New Wave of British Heavy Metal). The genre features the heaviness of death metal but with highly melodic or harmonized guitar riffs and solos, and often features high-pitched shrieked vocals (differing from traditional death metal) alongside the low-pitched growls commonly featured in traditional death metal. Antiloop were a Swedish electronic dance music duo, formed in Lidingö in 1994 by David Westerlund and Robin Söderman. They won two Swedish Grammis Awards and six Swedish Dance Music Awards. Biography Early career (1974–1994) Robin Staffan Mark Söderman (born 22 January 1974) and David Olof Westerlund (born 8 July 1977) both grew up in Lidingö in Stockholm, Sweden.
