The 55th Annual TV Week Logie Awards was held on Sunday 7 April 2013 at the Crown Palladium in Melbourne, and broadcast on the Nine Network and simulcast of Today Network's radio stations. Public voting for the "Most Popular" categories were conducted through an online survey from late November 2012 to 10 February 2013. Nominations were announced on 11 March 2013. Network Ten's ''Offspring'' received the most nominations with eight. '' Hamish and Andy's Euro Gap Year'', '' Hamish and Andy's Caravan of Courage: Australia Vs New Zealand'', ''Home and Away'', ''Howzat! Kerry Packer's War'', and ''Puberty Blues'' each received five nominations. Television presenter Brian Henderson was inducted into the Logies Hall of Fame. Hamish & Andy's Gap Year is a Logie Award–winning comedy series following Hamish Blake and Andy Lee (comedian), Andy Lee, a pair of Australian comedians, on their trips to various international locations. The first season saw the boys visiting America for ten episodes and broadcast their show weekly from New York City. In its second season in 2012, the show was titled ''Hamish & Andy's Euro Gap Year'', and seven episodes were broadcast from The Lord Stanley, a disused pub in East London, England. Hamish Donald Blake (born 11 December 1981) is an Australian comedian, television and radio presenter, actor and author. Since 2003, he has worked with Andy Lee as part of the comedy duo Hamish and Andy. The pair have performed live and on television and radio, most notably with their drive-time radio program ''Hamish & Andy''. Carrie Bickmore (born 3 December 1980) is an Australian talk show and current affairs Gold Logie award-winning television and radio presenter. Early life Bickmore was born in Adelaide, South Australia, in 1980, but moved to Perth, Western Australia, with her family at an early age. Bickmore attended the Anglican girls' school Perth College and then later attended Curtin University of Technology where she studied journalism, graduating in 2000. Andrew Thomas Lee (born 24 May 1981), known professionally as Andy Lee, is an Australian comedian, television presenter, musician and children's writer. He is known for working alongside Hamish Blake as part of the comedy duo Hamish & Andy. Personal life Andy Lee is the middle child of Michael and Margaret Lee. Lee has a younger sister, Alex Miles, who writes pantomimes and stars in the comedy stage show ''Porky Pies''. He also has an older brother, Cameron, with whom Lee started the band Zoophyte.
