Crystallion is a German heavy/power metal band founded in 2003 by bassist Steve Hall and drummer Martin Herzinger. William Randall Piper (born April 13, 1953) is an American guitarist, best known as the co-founder and original guitarist of the hard rock/ heavy metal band W.A.S.P. Biography Born in San Antonio, Texas, Piper grew up listening to Elvis Presley records and watching every movie Presley was in. Inspired by his hero, Piper began playing acoustic guitar at age 10. While still in high school, Piper opened a record store in Long Beach, California, called "Wheatstone Bridge". In 1978, Piper opened a rehearsal and recording space called Magnum Opus Studios in Buena Park, California. In 1977, Piper met another local musician named Blackie Goozeman (later known as Blackie Lawless) at the Starwood in West Hollywood. The two became friends and began recording demos at Piper's Magnum Opus Studio. Prong is an American heavy metal band formed in New York City in 1986. The band is fronted by guitarist/vocalist Tommy Victor, Prong's sole constant member. To date, they have released 12 studio albums (including a covers album), one live album, four EPs, one DVD and one remix album. Prong had two independent releases, '' Primitive Origins'' (1987) and ''Force Fed'' (1989), which attracted the attention of Epic Records, who signed the band in 1989. Their first two albums on Epic, ''Beg to Differ'' (1990) and '' Prove You Wrong'' (1991), were released to critical acclaim and garnered attention on MTV's ''Headbangers Ball''. Medication (band)
Medication was an American rock band that included Logan Mader, Whitfield Crane, B. Blunt, Kyle Sanders and Roy Mayorga. They released a self-titled EP and an album titled ''Prince Valium'' through Locomotive Music, and filmed a video for the song "Inside". Before the recording of ''Prince Valium'', Mayorga parted ways from the group to rejoin Soulfly for the recording of '' 3''. He was replaced by Chris Hamilton. They played one show in Los Angeles with nu metal band Strain 999 at The Whisky on Sunset with Robert Trujillo, now of Metallica, on bass. They disbanded in 2003 due to the cancelation of their European tour and the US branch of their record label closing. Los Suaves is a Spanish hard rock band from Ourense, Galicia (Spain), Galicia. The band was founded in the 1980s by the Domínguez brothers: Charly, bassist and Yosi Domínguez, vocalist. The chance to record their first album, ''Esta vida me va a matar'' (This Life is going to kill me), appeared after being the support band of The Ramones in A Coruña, during one of the visits of this punk band to Europe. Mägo de Oz (Spanish for '' Wizard of Oz'', with a metal umlaut) are a Spanish folk metal band from Begoña, Madrid formed in mid-1988 by drummer Txus di Fellatio. The band became well known for the strong Celtic feel to their music strengthened through their consistent usage of a violinist and flautist. The name for the band was chosen, according to founding member Txus, because "life is a yellow brick road, on which we walk in the company of others searching for our dreams." On the 26th of October, 2018, the band played a special concert to celebrate their 30th anniversary, playing with a symphony orchestra at the WiZink Center in Madrid. Grenouer is a Russian rock and metal band, formed in late 1992 in Perm. Their name is an intentional misspelling of grimoire, a magic textbook. History The debut was followed by other albums, released in Russia by labels like Irond, More Hate, Blacksmith Productions, and Metallism, further developing their death metal approach. The third album, ''The Odour O' Folly,'' included a heavy cover version of A-Ha's "Take On Me".
