Anne Lockhart (born Anne Kathleen Maloney; September 6, 1953) is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Lieutenant Sheba in the television series ''Battlestar Galactica'' (1978–1979). Early life Lockhart is the elder of two daughters of actress June Lockhart and the granddaughter of actors Gene and Kathleen Lockhart. Lockhart attended Verde Valley School in Sedona, Arizona, appearing in her first school play as a senior there. Career Television Lockhart began her career at the age of four, starring as Annie in the short film "T Is for Tumbleweed", which was nominated for an Academy Award in the category Best Live Action Short Film. James Lockhart (historian)
James Lockhart (born April 8, 1933 - January 17, 2014) was a U.S. historian of colonial Spanish America, especially the Nahua people and Nahuatl language. Born in Huntington, West Virginia, Lockhart attended West Virginia University (BA, 1956) and the University of Wisconsin–Madison (MA, 1962; PhD, 1967). Late in life, Lockhart wrote a short, candid memoir. He joined the US Army and was posted to Germany, working in "a low-level intelligence agency," translating letters from East Germany. Returning to the US, he entered the graduate program at University of Wisconsin, where he pursued his doctorate in the social history of conquest-era Peru. His dissertation, published in 1968 as ''Spanish Peru, 1531-1560'' was a path breaking approach to this early period. Samuel Lockhart
Samuel Lockhart (1851–1933) was a famous Victorian elephant trainer and the second child of the famous Lockhart circus family. His work with elephants took him all over the UK, including Royal command performances in front of Queen Victoria, Europe (where he ran his own circus France) and in the USA, where he worked for the famous Ringling Brothers Circus from 1896 to 1901. He has appeared in several historical books on the circus(SOURCE?), including one children's book completely dedicated to him (Elephants at Royal Leamington Spa by Janet Storrie, 1990), and the English town of Leamington Spa has several areas named after his most famous group of elephants "The Three Graces". General Sir Rob McGregor MacDonald Lockhart (23 June 1893 – 11 September 1981) was a senior British Army officer during the World War II and later a leading member of the Scout Association. Michael Lee Lockhart (September 30, 1960 – December 9, 1997) was an American serial killer who received death sentences in three states (Florida, Indiana, and Texas). He was executed on December 9, 1997, by the state of Texas. Arrest and Convictions Lockhart was caught when Officer Paul Hulsey Jr. tried to arrest him for driving a stolen Chevrolet Corvette in Beaumont, Texas. Officers responding to the motel room where he was reported found Hulsey dead in the room. They put out an all-points bulletin for the vehicle, which was spotted. A high speed chase ensued before Lockhart crashed and was soon apprehended. Evidence of his other crimes were found in the vehicle. Lockhart was convicted of killing Officer Hulsey and was sentenced to death. He was later convicted in Indiana for the murder of 16-year-old Windy Gallagher in Griffith, Indiana.
