LocaliQ Series
The LocaliQ Series, stylized as the LOCALiQ Series, was a one-off professional golf tour played in 2020 and organised by the PGA Tour. The series was announced following the cancellation of much of the PGA Tour's global development tours due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The tour is aimed at players who would have qualified to play on PGA Tour Canada, PGA Tour Latinoamérica and PGA Tour China in 2020, with places also available to players on the second-tier Korn Ferry Tour and sponsor invites. Originally called the XYZ Series, business marketing firm LocaliQ became the title sponsor. The seven regular tournaments on the circuit were contested over 54 holes of stroke play with 144 competitors, a cut line of 55 plus ties, and a minimum prize fund of $100,000. The series finale was a limited-field event over 72 holes. The winner and the two leaders in the overall series points standings were awarded sponsor exemptions into a tournament on the PGA Tour in 2021. The series was awarded Of ... PGA Tour Canada
PGA Tour Canada, commonly referred to as the Canadian Tour, is a men's professional golf tour headquartered in Toronto, Ontario. The United States based PGA Tour took over operation of the tour on November 1, 2012, at which time it was renamed PGA Tour Canada. In 2015, Mackenzie Investments became the umbrella sponsor of the tour, branding it as the Mackenzie Tour – PGA Tour Canada. PGA Tour Canada is one of three international PGA Tour-sanctioned tours, along with PGA Tour China and PGA Tour Latinoamérica. These provide access to the Korn Ferry Tour and are part of the path to the PGA Tour. Forme Tour
The Forme Tour was a men's professional golf tour played in the United States. The tour was created by the PGA Tour in 2021 in response to COVID-19 pandemic related restrictions on travel between the United States and Canada, in order to provide competition for non-Canadian PGA Tour Canada members, with entry also available through a series seven of Q-School events. Eight tournaments were initially announced, to be held between June and September. The tournaments offered Official World Golf Ranking points, and the top five players on the points list at the end of the season gained Korn Ferry Tour membership for the 2022 season. 2020 PGA Tour China
PGA Tour China is a China-based men's professional golf tour as part of the PGA Tour's global expansion. The tour started in 2014. After a hiatus in 2017, the tour resumed in 2018. It is known as PGA Tour Series China. An earlier tour, the Omega China Tour, ran from 2004 to 2009. The United States-based PGA Tour started PGA Tour China in 2014, joining PGA Tour Canada and PGA Tour Latinoamérica as international developmental tours. Similar to the Canadian and Latinoamerica tours, PGA Tour China offers a path to the Korn Ferry Tour for top finishers. It also offers Official World Golf Ranking points to the top-six finishers at each tournament. The top five finishers on the Order of Merit at season's end receive promotion to the Korn Ferry Tour. 2020 PGA Tour Canada
The 2020 PGA Tour Canada, titled as the 2020 Mackenzie Tour – PGA Tour Canada for sponsorship reasons and commonly known as the Canadian Tour, was scheduled to be the 51st season of the PGA Tour Canada. It would have been the eighth season under the operation of the PGA Tour and the final year of the initial six year sponsorship deal with Mackenzie Investments. In early March, the tour's four remaining qualifying tournaments were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On April 16, it was announced that the first six tournaments would also be postponed. On May 29, the tour announced the cancellation of the entire season. 2020–21 Korn Ferry Tour
The 2020–21 Korn Ferry Tour was the 31st season of the top developmental tour for the PGA Tour in men's golf, and the second under the current sponsored name of Korn Ferry Tour. Originally scheduled to run from January 12 to August 30, it was announced in early May 2020 that due to disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic that the in-progress and on-hold 2020 season would be merged with the planned 2021 season. With the season having been extended through 2021, there were no graduates to the PGA Tour for the 2020–21 season. 2019–20 PGA Tour
The 2019–20 PGA Tour was the 105th season (53rd since separating from the PGA of America) of the United States-based elite men's professional golf circuit. The season started on September 12, 2019. The 2020 FedEx Cup Playoffs began on August 20, and concluded on September 7, 2020, with Dustin Johnson winning the FedEx Cup. The season was effectively suspended on March 12 with the cancellation of the Players Championship after the first round due to growing concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. Several more tournaments were later canceled or postponed, including all four major championships, the two remaining World Golf Championships and the Tokyo Summer Olympics.
