''Loafing and Camouflage'' ( el, Λούφα και Παραλλαγή, translit=Lufa kai Paralagi; 1984) is a Greek comedy film directed by Nikos Perakis. It was followed by the motion picture Living Dangerously ( Greek: BiOS + πολιτεία, romanized: BiOS + politeia; 1987 ), bringing the characters in a post-20 year "reunion". In 2005, '' Loafing and Camouflage: Sirens in the Aegean'' was released, bearing no relation to the first installment; instead, telling the story of a modern-day Army company. A TV series version of the movie aired for two seasons, featuring actors from the latest L&C movie in the roles of the original characters from the 1984 installment. Nikos Perakis ( el, Νίκος Περάκης; born 11 September 1944) is a Greek writer and film director. He studied at the Fine Arts Academy of Munich. At that time he worked as a set and costume designer. The Golden Bear (german: Goldener Bär) is the highest prize awarded for the best film at the Berlin International Film Festival. The bear is the heraldic animal of Berlin, featured on both the coat of arms and flag of Berlin. History The winners of the first Berlin International Film Festival in 1951 were determined by a West German panel, with five winners of the Golden Bear, divided by categories and genres.
