This is the discography of pop/ R&B singer Kat DeLuna. DeLuna first rose to fame in 2007, when she released her debut single " Whine Up". The single became one of the most played songs on pop radio that summer, and achieved major success worldwide, reaching the top ten in countries such as Belgium and France. The single also became a smash hit in the US, peaking inside the top forty of the Hot 100 single chart, as well as topped the Hot Dance Club Play chart. The single led to the release of DeLuna's debut album, '' 9 Lives'' in the Fall of 2007. The album was met to generally positive critical reception. The album debuted at number 58 in the US, and charted within the top twenty of countries such as Belgium and Poland. In 2008, DeLuna began work on her second studio album. Kathleen Emperatriz DeLuna (born November 26, 1987) is an American singer. DeLuna began pursuing a career as a singer when she was a teenager and later signed with Epic Records. Her debut single, "Whine Up", released in 2007, went on to become a commercial success, entering the Top 40 in numerous countries and topping the ''Billboard'' Hot Dance Club Play chart. Her debut studio album, '' 9 Lives'' (2007), failed to see the success of its lead single. Oneal Bryan (born 1975), better known by his stage name Elephant Man, is a Jamaican dancehall musician, having formerly been a member of the dancehall group Scare Dem Crew prior to his solo career. The Canadian Hot 100 is a music industry record chart in Canada for songs, published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine. The Canadian Hot 100 was launched on the issue dated March 31, 2007, and is currently the standard record chart in Canada; a new chart is compiled and officially released to the public by ''Billboard'' on Tuesdays but post-dated to the following Saturday.
