''Lo Que Son Las Cosas'' is the eleventh studio album by the Puerto Rican singer Ednita Nazario. The album was released in 1991, on Capitol, and EMI Latin. The album was a commercial success, reaching number 5 on the Latin Pop Albums Chart. six singles were issued from Lo Que Son Las Cosas: "Después de Tanto", "Eres Libre", "Lo Que Son Las Cosas", "Más Que Un Amigo", "Ahora Es Tarde Ya", and "Por Tí Me Casaré". The song " Lo Que Son Las Cosas" would later be covered and made famous again by the Dominican singer Anaís. Her version of the song topped the Latin Charts for 6 weeks. Anaís Martínez (born June 22, 1984) is a Latin Grammy Award-nominated Dominican-American singer from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She rose to fame after winning the Puerto-Rican singing competition show ''Objetivo Fama'' in 2005. Early life Anaís was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Luis Conte (born 16 November 1954) is a Cuban percussionist best-known for his performances in the bands of artists including James Taylor, Madonna, Pat Metheny Group, Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, Phil Collins, Rod Stewart and Shakira. He began his music career as a studio musician for Latin Jazz acts like Caldera. Conte's live performance and touring career took off when he joined Madonna's touring band in the 1980s. Neil Stubenhaus is an American bass guitarist. Career He started his musical training playing drums and switched to bass guitar at the age of 12. He studied at the Berklee College of Music where he graduated in 1975. After graduation, he was recommended by Steve Swallow and started teaching while playing in a band with another Berklee student Steve Smith (Vital Information, Journey). While at Berklee, Neil met session drummers Vinnie Colaiuta (who has worked with famous musicians such as Sting, & Frank Zappa) and John Robinson (who has also worked with superstars, including Barbra Streisand, Quincy Jones, Chaka Khan, Michael Jackson). John Frederick Robinson (born December 29, 1954), known professionally as JR, is an American drummer and session musician who has been called "one of the most recorded drummers in history". He is known for his work with producer Quincy Jones, including Michael Jackson's multi-platinum ''Off the Wall'' album and the charity single "We Are the World". Thompson is known for his work as a session guitarist during the last 4 decades. He founded the rock group TRW in 2007. Weldon Dean Parks (born December 6, 1946) is an American session guitarist and record producer from Fort Worth, Texas. Albums Parks was member of the North Texas State One O'clock Lab Band before moving to Los Angeles to work with Sonny and Cher in 1970. In 1980, he was a founding member of the Christian Jazz Fusion band Koinonia. Parks is best known for his many contributions to albums by Steely Dan, Michael Jackson, and Bread.
