Lora Lyn Hubbel is an American politician; a former member of the South Dakota House of Representatives and a former chair of the Minnehaha County Republican Party and the former state chair of the Constitution Party of South Dakota. Lora Jessica Webster (born August 26, 1986) is an American Paralympic volleyballist. She won a 2018 Theresa Award. Early life Webster was born in Phoenix, Arizona. By the time she turned 11 she was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her left tibia. She underwent a rotationplasty procedure to remove the cancerous bone, and lost her knee that way. In 1998 she got a prosthetic leg. In 2004, she graduated from Cactus Shadows High School in Cave Creek, Arizona with Gene Autry Courage Award which she shared with Lynn Swan. Lora H. Reinbold (born April 30, 1964 in Fairbanks, Alaska) is an American politician who is a member of the Alaska Senate. She was a member of the Alaska House from 2013 to 2019, representing District 26. Lora Lee Michel (born Virginia Joy Willeford, September 13, 1940) is an American former child actress. She appeared in several feature films during the Golden Age of Hollywood in the late 1940s and early 1950s. In 1950, she was the focus of a custody dispute in Beverly Hills, California, in which she alleged that her adoptive mother had beaten and starved her. She came to public attention again in 1963 when she and her third husband were sentenced in federal court for stealing a car and driving it across state lines. After her release from prison, she disappeared. It is believed she died from cancer in 1979. Lora Flanegin Marx (1900–1989) was an American sculptor. Biography Lora Hurff Flanegin was born in Elmwood, Illinois in 1900. Flanegin was married to Samuel Abraham Marx. Soon after their divorce, she met Mies van der Rohe in 1940 and they remained partners until Mies' death in 1969. Lora Sarah La Mance (2 April 1857 – 9 May 1939) was an American horticulturist and writer, on gardening. She also published genealogical research. Life Born Lora Sarah Nichols, in 1857 in Indiana, the tenth and last child of Kezia (Waltman) and Nelson Irvin Nichols (1812-1865) - himself a twelfth child. Lora married, on 14 April 1880, Marcus N. La Mance (1844-1906) who ran a dry-goods store, and was post master, and several times country treasurer. They had one daughter, Lora Lee (1881-1941). Both Lora and Lora Lee were members of Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), under multiple lines of descent. La Mance was active in the temperance cause and was local and county president of the Women's Christian Temperance Union ( WCTU), which took the county dry.
