Lnáře (german: Schlüsselburg) is a municipality and village in Strakonice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 700 inhabitants. Administrative parts The village of Zahorčice is an administrative part of Lnáře. Etymology The name Lnáře is derived from the Slavonic languages, Slavonic word ''lnář'' (meaning person who cultivate, process, or sale flax). The German name is derived from ''Schlüssel'' (means "key") and ''Burg'' (means "castle"). It refers to a key worn in coat of arms of the noble family of Schlüsselberg who probably founded the local aristocratic residence. Geography Lnáře is located about north of Strakonice and southeast of Plzeň, in the historical region of Prácheňsko. It lies in the Blatná Uplands.
