Lloyd V. Hackley
Lloyd Vincent "Vic" Hackley is an educational administrator in North Carolina who was named in July 2007 as the interim chancellor of Fayetteville State University. He was previously chancellor of FSU from 1988 to 1994. Hackley is an alumnus of Lucy Addison High School in Roanoke, Virginia. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He has a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and a Ph.D. in International Relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Hackley taught political science at the United States Air Force Academy before becoming a university administrator. He was the vice president for academic affairs at the University of North Carolina from 1978 to 1981. The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) is a public historically black university in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Founded in 1873, it is the second oldest public college or university in the state of Arkansas. UAPB is part of the University of Arkansas System and Thurgood Marshall College Fund. History The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff was authorized in 1873 by the Reconstruction-era legislature as the Branch Normal College and opened in 1875 with Joseph Carter Corbin principal. North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (also known as North Carolina A&T State University, North Carolina A&T, N.C. A&T, or simply A&T) is a public, historically black land-grant research university in Greensboro, North Carolina. It is a constituent institution of the University of North Carolina System. The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) is a United States service academy in El Paso County, Colorado, immediately north of Colorado Springs. It educates cadets for service in the officer corps of the United States Air Force and United States Space Force.
