Ljubo Kojo
Ljubomir "Ljubo" Kojo (Serbian Cyrillic: Љубомир Којо; 3 August 1920 – 19 April 1993) was a Bosnian and Yugoslav politician who served as the 19th mayor of Sarajevo from 1955 to 1962. Early life He was born into a prominent Serb family on 3 August 1920 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was then a part of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. He received his high school education in the Sarayevan academy of commerce. With the Axis invasion of Yugoslavia and the formation of the NDH puppet state in 1941, he joined the Yugoslav Partisans. After being gravely wounded in battle, he was transferred to a military hospital in Bari, Italy where he recovered on the eve of the liberation of Sarajevo. This is a list of people who have served as mayor or president of the city council of the city of Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sarajevo has had 38 different mayors in 39 different mayorships since the position was created on 22 August 1878, upon Austro-Hungarian occupation. History The first mayor of Sarajevo Mustafa Fadilpašić was also the city's longest-served mayor, having remained in office for 14 years. Bari ( , ; nap, label= Barese, Bare ; lat, Barium) is the capital city of the Metropolitan City of Bari and of the Apulia region, on the Adriatic Sea, southern Italy. Skenderija
Skenderija is a cultural, sports and trade center located in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the area of 70,000 square meters there are multipurpose halls where various sports, cultural and trade events are organized throughout the year, as well as a modern shopping center "Privredni grad" with numerous shops, restaurants, coffee confectionery and similar. Skenderija consists of several venues which include: Dom Mladih, Ars Aevi and Mirza Delibašić Hall. Fudbalski klub Sarajevo (; English: Sarajevo Football Club) is a professional football club based in Sarajevo, the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina and is one of the most successful clubs in the country.
