Mary Liza Bautista Diño-Seguerra (born June 25, 1981) is a government official, former beauty pageant winner and actress in the Philippines. Career During her time as a student, she joined Mutya ng Pilipinas beauty pageant and won as Mutya ng Pilipinas-Tourism International. She then represented the Philippines in the Miss Tourism International pageant in 2001. She then joined GMA 7 artist center and appeared in ''Daddy Di Do Du'', '' Pira-pirasong Pangarap'', ''Habang Kapiling Ka'', ''Atlantika'', and ''Bakekang''. Her first theater role was at Dulaang University of the Philippines (DUP), where she appeared onstage in ''The Passion of the Christ'' under Tony Mabesa, and in ''Divinas Palabras'' (2000) and Shakespeare's ''The Winter's Tale'' (2002), both under director Jose Estrella. Antonio Ocampo Mabesa (January 27, 1935 – October 4, 2019), known as Tony Mabesa, was a Filipino stage director, film and television actor, and professor. With a career spanning over 70 years, he was a founding father of Philippine university theater and one of the most prominent theater directors in the country. For his work, he was known as a "Lion of the Theater". He founded the theater groups Dulaang UP and the UP Playwrights' Theatre. Early life and education Mabesa was born in Los Baños, Laguna. He entered high school at the University of the Philippines Rural High School, where he first directed a school production. The Montreal World Film Festival (WFF; french: le Festival des Films du Monde) was one of Canada's oldest international film festivals and the only competitive film festival in North America accredited by the FIAPF (although the Toronto International Film Festival is North America's only accredited non-competitive festival). The public festival, which was founded in 1977 as a replacement for the defunct Montreal International Film Festival (1960–68), is held annually in late August in the city of Montreal in Quebec.
