Liz Prince
Liz Prince (born 1981) is an American comics creator, noted for her sketchbook-style autobiographical comics. Prince initially started publishing on her own on the internet and later became a published author with Top Shelf Comics. She currently lives in Maine. Biography Prince was born in Boston and grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico. As a young person, she played Little League baseball in Santa Fe. Prince released her first book, ''Will You Still Love Me If I Wet the Bed?'' in 2005. In 2012, Prince lent her talents to help support the Boston Ladyfest, which worked to raise money for the Eastern Massachusetts Abortion Fund and create a "lasting network for creative feminists in Boston and beyond." She has also participated in Free Comic Book Day, signing copies of her book, ''Tomboy'', for free at New England Comics in Harvard Square in 2014. Boom! Studios (styled BOOM! Studios) is an American comic book and graphic novel publisher, headquartered in Los Angeles, California, United States. History Origins In the early 2000s, Ross Richie and Andrew Cosby had been working in Hollywood, helping to option comic book projects as producers and working to develop them into films with the studios, but were getting increasingly frustrated with the process. Richie planned to start Boom! to get away from Hollywood. Brian Timothy Finn (born 25 June 1952) is a New Zealand singer and musician. His musical career includes forming 1970s and 1980s New Zealand rock group Split Enz, a number of solo albums, temporary membership in his brother Neil's band Crowded House and joint efforts with Neil Finn as the Finn Brothers. Early life Brian Timothy Finn was born in Te Awamutu, New Zealand, weighing 10 pounds at birth, to parents Richard and Mary. Ken Reid (comedian)
Ken Reid is an American standup comedian based in Boston. Education Reid received his bachelor's degree from Northeastern University in 2003. He attended Melrose High School and also studied at Goldsmiths, University of London. Comedy career Reid began performing stand-up comedy while a student at Goldsmiths, University of London in the UK. He returned to Boston in 2003 and became a regular performer at the Comedy Studio in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Reid was a member of comedy troupe The Untrainables, a group of standup performers at ImprovBoston. The Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), established in 1957, is a division of the American Library Association. YALSA is a national association of librarians, library workers and advocates whose mission is to expand the capacity of libraries to better serve teens.
