Liz Henry
Liz Henry (born 1969) is a blogger, author, translator, technologist, and activist. She is a co-founder of the first women's hackerspace in San Francisco, Double Union, where she is still active. She is also an advocate for disability technology and hacking existing technology for use by disabled people. Career Henry is a senior release manager at Twitch. Previously, she was the Firefox release manager and bugmaster for Mozilla. She has also served on the advisory board of the GimpGirl Community and The Ada Initiative. In 2005, in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Henry flew to Houston to help the evacuees. She worked with Technology For All to help people use technology to reconnect and rebuild. In 2007, Henry co-organized BarCampBlock in Palo Alto, California. In 2011, Henry played a key role in the unveiling of '' A Gay Girl In Damascus''. Kiwicon
Kiwicon is a New Zealand computer security conference held annually in Wellington from 2007. It brings together a variety of people interested in information security. Representatives of government agencies and corporations attend, along with hackers. The conference format allows for talks, informal discussions, socialising, key signing and competitions. Talks are of various lengths on a wide range of subjects, usually including a wide range of techniques for modern exploits and operational security, security philosophy, New Zealand hacker history, related New Zealand law, and a few talks on more esoteric topics. Kiwicon was founded by Adam Boileau when the annual Australian computer security conference Ruxcon was cancelled for 2007. At the conclusion of Kiwicon X, it was announced that there would be no Kiwicon in 2017. Madison, Wisconsin
Madison is the county seat of Dane County and the capital city of the U.S. state of Wisconsin.
