Liyana Jasmay
Liyana binti Jasmay (born 28 March 1988) is a Malaysian actress, singer, producer and director. Career Jasmay's first acting role came in 1997 when she was only nine years old in a TV drama called ''Si Lembik''. The story is similar to the Hollywood film ''The Little Rascals'', where little kids play the roles of adults. It was produced and directed by Aznil Hj Nawawi. Over the years, Jasmay has made herself a household name by acting in numerous TV drama and TV series including Dendam Terlerai, Balqis, Orang Kasar, Cinta Sempadan, Najwa, and Cinta Si Rempit. She then made her first silver-screen role in a highly promoted film ''Castello'', where she starred alongside Rosyam Nor. The role earned Jasmay her first Malaysian Film Festival 2006 nomination for the Best New Actress Award. Kuantan ( Jawi: ) is a city and the state capital of Pahang, Malaysia. It is located near the mouth of the Kuantan River. Kuantan is the 18th largest city in Malaysia based on 2010 population, and the largest city in the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. TV9 (spelled as ''tivi sembilan'') is a Malaysian free-to-air television network launched on 22 April 2006 as a subsidiary of Media Prima, Media Prima Berhad. It airs programming that tends mostly towards the Malay demographic. The channel formerly existed as Channel 9 from 9 September 2003 until 3 February 2005 due to financial difficulties faced by the operator. TV9 started broadcasting 24 hours a day on 6 May 2019. Astro Citra is a 24-hour Malay language version of HBO Asia, showing the local and Asian movies. The channel began broadcasting on 1 June 2009, replacing Astro Kirana (Channel 122) which ceased its broadcasting on 18 May 2009 due to low viewership. Astro Ria is a 24-hour Southeast Asia Bahasa Malaysia television channel exclusive to the Astro satellite television provider. It was one of the first 22 channels to be launched on Astro in 1996. The Rakyat Post
The Rakyat Post (TRP) is a digital media company in Malaysia. It was founded in 2013, but ceased operations as a news portal in 2016. In April 2019, it was relaunched as a non-news media organisation under different ownership and management. Controversy Employers unpaid salaries On 29 February 2016, the news was reported to have cease its operation following the non-payment of employers. On 10 March 2016, the news site reportedly resurfaced. The news site former employees who still did not get the payment of their salaries has made an official statement that they are not related on the "relaunch".
