Living Tribunal
The Living Tribunal is a fictional cosmic entity appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character first appeared in ''Strange Tales'' #157 (June 1967) and was created by Stan Lee, Marie Severin, and Herb Trimpe. The Living Tribunal appeared in a cameo in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film ''Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness'' (2022). Publication history The Living Tribunal debuted in a storyline called "The Sands of Death" in ''Strange Tales'' #157–163 (June–December 1967), giving mystic hero Doctor Strange a limited time to prove Earth is worth saving. Established as apparently the supreme power in the Marvel Universe, the character made several sporadic appearances over the years, including ''What If'' #32 (April 1982); ''Rom'' #41 (April 1983) and ''Secret Wars II'' #6 (December 1985). Jim Starlin
James P. Starlin (born October 9, 1949) is an American comics artist and writer. Beginning his career in the early 1970s, he is best known for space opera stories, for revamping the Marvel Comics characters Captain Marvel and Adam Warlock, and for creating or co-creating the Marvel characters Thanos, Drax the Destroyer, Gamora, and Shang-Chi. Later, for DC Comics, he drew many of their iconic characters, including Darkseid and other characters from Jack Kirby's Fourth World, and scripted the death of Jason Todd, the second Robin, during his run on '' Batman''. For '' Epic Illustrated'', he created his own character, Dreadstar. Early life Jim Starlin was born on October 9, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan. He had a Catholic upbringing. Rom the Space Knight is a superhero, originally a toy and then a magazine lead. Rom was created by Scott Dankman, Richard C. Levy, and Bryan L. McCoy for Parker Brothers and is now a Hasbro asset. After the toy was licensed to Marvel Comics, Rom became a character that debuted in Marvel in the eponymous American comic book ''Rom: Spaceknight'' (December 1979 – February 1986), by Bill Mantlo and Sal Buscema. In July 2015, IDW Publishing began publishing a new ''Rom'' comic book series. That December, a live-action film version of Rom was in development by Allspark Pictures and Paramount. A parallel universe, also known as a parallel dimension, alternate universe, or alternate reality, is a hypothetical self-contained plane of existence, co-existing with one's own. The sum of all potential parallel universes that constitute reality is often called a "multiverse". Within Marvel Comics, most tales take place within the fictional Marvel Universe, which in turn is part of a larger multiverse. The Beyonders are a fictional enigmatic higher-dimensional race appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The New Avengers is a fictional team of superheroes appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The title has been used for four American comic book series. The first two were written by Brian Michael Bendis and depicted a version of Marvel's premiere superhero team, the Avengers. She-Hulk (Jennifer "Jen" Walters) is a fictional Character (arts), character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist John Buscema, she first appeared in ''The Savage She-Hulk'' #1 (cover-dated February 1980 in comics, 1980). Walters is a lawyer who, after an injury, received an emergency blood transfusion from her cousin, Hulk, Bruce Banner, and acquired a milder version of his Hulk condition.
