Livermore High School
Founded in 1891, Livermore Union High School is a public high school located in the city of Livermore, California, United States. It is part of the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District. In 2007, it was chosen as one in four schools in Alameda County to receive the California Distinguished School award. Academics Livermore High School is home to the LHS Green Engineering Academy, a program to promote engineering through hands-on learning activities and applications of engineering to all areas of the students academics. GEA is open to 60 students per year. In October 2012, GEA won the Golden Bell Award for outstanding academic programs in a California classroom. Delbert Gee
Delbert C. Gee is a retired Judge of the Superior Court of California (United States) in the County of Alameda and served from his appointment in 2002 by the Governor of the State of California until his retirement in 2022. Judge Gee presided over a civil direct calendar and trial court, and a criminal felony and misdemeanor calendar and trial court, as well as a probate, conservatorship, and guardianship court, a collaborative and drug court, and a juvenile dependency and delinquency court, in the court's Hayward, Oakland, Alameda, and Berkeley courthouses. He was the last judge to preside over criminal cases in the Alameda courthouse, and he presided over two civil jury trials conducted entirely by video during the COVID-19 pandemic. Danny Payne
Daniel J. Payne was an American soccer midfielder who spent six seasons in the American Soccer League and one in the North American Soccer League. Youth Payne grew up in Livermore, California. He attended Livermore High School where he was a four year varsity soccer player. He then attended Chico State University where he was a 1978 Honorable Mention (third team) All American soccer player. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in accounting in 1982. Payne was inducted into the Chico State Athletic Hall of Fame in 1999. Professional In 1979, the Sacramento Gold of the American Soccer League drafted Payne and he signed with the Gold on March 29, 1979. That season, the Gold won the league championship. The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is a history museum and hall of fame in Cooperstown, New York, operated by private interests.
