''Live – Friday the 13th'' is a live DVD and CD release by Maroon 5. It was recorded on May 13, 2005 in Santa Barbara, California at the Santa Barbara Bowl. The DVD features exclusive interviews with the band and insight into how certain key songs came about. The live concert is a performance of all their songs and the CD contains the same tracks. This album has been released with the Copy Control protection system in some regions. Maroon 5 is an American pop rock band from Los Angeles, California. It currently consists of lead vocalist Adam Levine, keyboardist and rhythm guitarist Jesse Carmichael, lead guitarist James Valentine (musician), James Valentine, drummer Matt Flynn (musician), Matt Flynn, keyboardist PJ Morton and multi-instrumentalist and bassist Sam Farrar. Original members Levine, Carmichael, bassist Mickey Madden, and drummer Ryan Dusick first came together as Kara's Flowers in 1994, while they were still in high school. "Sunday Morning" is a song by American pop rock band Maroon 5. It was released on November 8, 2004, as the fourth single from their debut studio album ''Songs About Jane'' (2002). The single peaked at number 31 in the United States, becoming Maroon 5's fourth Top 40 single; it also peaked at number 27 in the United Kingdom and Australia. An accompanying music video directed by Andy Delaney and Monty Whitebloom and was filmed at Abbey Road Studios and the Otto Dining Lounge in London. Matt Flynn (musician)
Matthew Flynn (born May 23, 1970) is an American musician and record producer. He is the drummer for the pop rock band Maroon 5. In 2006, after being the band's touring drummer for two years, Flynn officially replaced the original drummer of Maroon 5, Ryan Dusick, who left the group due to serious wrist and shoulder injuries sustained from constant touring after the release of their first album, ''Songs About Jane'' in 2002. Prior to joining Maroon 5, Flynn has played drums for The B-52's, Chicago, Gavin DeGraw and Gandhi. Early life Flynn was born in Woodstock, New York. Mickey Madden
Michael Allen Madden (born May 13, 1979) is an American musician and a former bassist for the pop rock band Maroon 5. Life and music career Madden was born in Austin, Texas. He began playing in junior high school at the Brentwood School in Los Angeles, playing in garages along with friends Jesse Carmichael (guitar/vocals) and Adam Levine (vocals/guitar). The bands Pearl Jam and Nirvana were among their influences. In 1994, with the addition of Ryan Dusick (drums), the band Kara's Flowers was formed. After the break-up of Kara's Flowers, Madden attended classes at UCLA. James Burgon Valentine (born October 5, 1978) is an American musician who is the lead guitarist and backing vocalist for the pop rock band Maroon 5. Early life Valentine was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) and has three sisters and one brother. His mother is a former beauty queen, who was a school teacher before becoming a stay-at-home mom to raise her five children. Michael George Farr (30 June 1941 – 18 April 1996), known professionally as Mike Leander, was a British arranger, songwriter and record producer.
